If RAMMSTEIN wrote "I believe in a thing called love"
"Ich glaube an ein Ding, das Liebe heißt"
Call Me Maybe - Carly Rae Jepsen - 😄
How cool would it be if this happened, then Justin Hawkins did a reaction video?
I hope he does this one
@@pickyyeeter indeed, would give Otu some much deserved exposure. Justin is surprisingly active on YT, and seems like such a great guy
Amy Lee Lindemann is my new favorite singer. 🤘
Amy Leendemann
@@TheMCzorro 🤌
More appropriate is Amy TeeL Lindemann.
"VAKE ME UP". This is epic! I hope both Amy and Till watch this.
The rammstein song no one asked for but everyone wants...
Phenomenal work...
Fuck AI-generated covers, this is the shit! lml
ironically, some peeps are using Otu to make ai covers that sound halfway believable
not that i *approve* of them, but still funny
AI covers aren't good. That's why, when people say AI is going to be writing music, I laugh. AI is currently just a search engine on cocaine. It does cool things, but it's nowhere near intelligent (artificially or not). The real heroes of AI are the marketing guys.
@alalvarez7301 , they should feel ashamed, because my guess is that they didn't ask Otu.
@@alalvarez7301 This is some kind of blasphemy!🤦♀
Would you comment "Fuck Burger King, this is the shit!" at a Gordon Ramsay cooking video? It's just so... superfluous.
"Bring me to life" with male vocals does sound pretty great.
Your German is on point! Lol. I can't even fake an French accent when I speak English, and I'm French lol
J'ai eu la chance de faire la première partie et d'accueillir chez moi Otu et son groupe Kaiser quand ils étaient en tournée, ce mec est une machine de guerre et une personne adorable
It's much harder to tell if you have an accent yourself. Have a native English speaker listen to you speak English, and they'll probably hear a French accent. I personally had no idea what my accent was myself, as I sound like one other person when recorded: one of my cousins. Turns out I most likely have a Pacific Northwest US accent. Makes sense, I was born near Seattle and she lives near there. While I lived there for less than a decade of my 46 years, it was apparently enough for the accent to stick.
Being from a scandinavia makes it much easier tho.
Take Latin for example. English natives cant pronounce any of that Shit properly, its pretty easy for Germans tho.
@@tirsden Yeah, the formative early years when your pronunciation gets made.
@@davidmertens4737 That more comes from the fact that the sounds are different enough.
English natives usually have a hard time with the german "ch", but german natives tend to stumble on the english "th"
I went to a death metal show, and they covered "Planet Earth" by Duran Duran, and I was the only person old enough to get it. The lead singer saw me singing along, and called me out. Great times.
My favorite "out of nowhere" metal cover was No One Lives Forever by Oingo Boingo. I dropped into a bar in Eugene,OR 15 years ago. It was rad! They also did a Magic Bullets by Tom Waits
@@slaughterhausprints7740 NICE! I used to play "No One Lives Forever" while rage-driving Mom's Mazda GLC in Los Angeles.
Every time UA-cam recommends me one of the wild Slayer mashups (Like Walking on Sunshine + Chemical Warfare) I feel like that stuff would be fire at a festival.
Like when the Foo Fighters covered Never Gonna Give You Up and the audience were totally into it.
@@HappyBeezerStudios To be fair, the Foos ALSO had Rick Astley there to sing it.
Highly recommended 10 Masked Men's death metal cover of Boney M's Rasputin. You'll find it on UA-cam, won't regret it
You do the vocals so well. Not just an imitation but the nuance. This could play right after "stripped" and I doubt I'd be able to tell a difference
Really impressive vocals I agree but I'm not sure it would survive such direct comparison - but without having it actually happen...
My first listen to this it sounded just a little off my mental image of how it should sound but not enough I could say why... And seeing this comment I immediately did the reverse of what you suggested and listened to Stripped - it seemed quite apparent there was a difference. But that might be just because I knew and was listening for it, still can't really describe the difference clearly, and frankly the vocals here are really good they don't need to actually sound identical - best I can come up with is there is a hint and just a hint of the overblown cartoon Russian accent here).
See, one of the subtler keys to that Moonic genius on a Rammstein take is to make every vowel sound like it has an umlaut over it. 👏
Dude the rammstein vibe is so on point
It's impressive how well you play all the parts with the facial expressions, let alone the music!!!!! 😂
The verse riff sounds very Blackhole Sun-inspired and I'm a big fan. Also the cover rips as usual, dude. Good job.
I've told so many of my friends about your channel. Keep it going, I love every Episode.
He has The Best Till impression ever!!
Its so wild that your Rammstein style songs are so much more enjoyable for me than their actual songs. Well done man. Would love to see more doom metal and sludge covers. Eyehategod version of a Pantera song would be neat.
This version is AWESOME!! Thanks man!!
Your Rammstein covers are fucking flawless.🤘
bro, the expressions, the rolled r's, lmfao, i LOVE this. seeing the thought you put into it is awesome too!
Not just the rolled Rs... even the way he exhales. He literally sounds like friggin' Till. It's insane.
didn’t know bro could do a Dracula impression 😂
Awesome stuff :)
Please do "If Rammstein did "you touch my tra-la-la""
Has lindman ever contacted you? You nailed it again🎉
Haha I died every time you panned to the keyboard parts. I didn’t know I needed this in my life, but here we are! Nicely done sir!
This might be my favorite one yet. Freaking genius.
The Rammstein ones are always my favourite.
Dude, that was fucking AWESOME. I have chills all over.
Brother, you are unbelievably talented! Every cover blows me away! Seriously!
You bring a smile everytime. This is fun music mate!
I’m currently in the hospital since a few days back and have been feeling depressed all day. This was exactly what I needed to bring me back to life. 😉Will be playing this on repeat during my recovery.❤️
Woohoo! New Rammstein-style cover =)
I basically only follow you for the rammstein covers and you just DO NOT MISS. Amazing, as always.
Okay, so someone already made a Dracula sound-alike comment regarding the vocals. But this has got to be the most Bavarian sounding Valahian Prince I have ever heard, and I'm born and raised Bucharest and Busteni. Loved the cover! It's always a treat to see one music genre pay tribute to another.
The start made me think if they wrong "Wake me up before you go go"
Do that one next
Yeahhh. I want your Rammstein album
dude! you are so spectacular! Spot On! Even the rolling, guttural German 'r's....
Once again this dude has introduced something into my my life I didnt know I needed.
I think Rammstein doing "sweet dreams" "nobody's" "tourniquet" or "comms white" by Marilyn Manson would go hard.
At first I was highly sceptical .... but man this video is dope. You have a new subscriber sir.
Finally nicely comprehensible lyrics :)
Dude you're The Best, love the little out take it's 'Damn, I can't play any of this stuff' Cool ❤
Your vids are flippin hilarious!! Love your edits
10/10 loved this rendition!
If Rammstein wrote Da Ya Think I'm Sexy (by Rod Stewart)
PLEASE DO THIS!!! This totally seems like a song they'd cover.
I guess he already made it some time ago - ua-cam.com/video/vmCJAPuPO0g/v-deo.html
@@dydysh99 That was a different one. I am talking about this other song right here. ua-cam.com/video/wN_0nOeEwtE/v-deo.html
@@dydysh99 That was a different song.
Dude, you are so effin' good. Incredible man!
Holy crap! What a riff!
Spectacular- love this
I didn't ever think Bring me to life could ever be a good song. Now it is😂
If Rammstein wrote "Anti Hero" (Taylor Swift)
I knew this cover would be as brilliant as always when you do Rammstein covers of other songs so i pushed the like button before the song started and i really like this song too. You are really amazing! 👍
"PERFECT" "FATALITY"!!! I AWAKE!!!
Anticipated this mash-up 😁
I honestly think you should create your own material. You are incredibly talented mate.
Wow that was sick
Your Til is so spot on lol!
This reminds me strongly of Oomph!
Amazing job
Just outstanding! Performed so well, so close to how Till Lindemann performs AND to original Evanescence melody and vocal part, definitely recognised in this cover!
If rammstein wrote my heart will go on by Celine Dion. Would be epic
exactly this pure English pronunciation fits too well. We Germans always have to smile about Rammstein's English
great performance
Damn , this was cool AF , great stuff !
Now we need if evanescence wrote sonne
Love watching this guys videos
been playing alot of wolfenstein recently and think i need a if rammstein wrote house of the rising sun
instant goosebumps.. i absolutely love your content..
It would be the greatest song and music video ever made
*Perfect timing:*
Just before watching this, I watched solidjj's video featuring Snowflame. *SNOWFLAME!*
The roll in the R's is so good
The accent is on point 🔥
Great cover!
Bro, you are a genius! lol, Awesome!
THIS GUY IS A TRUE BOSS!!!
Saludos desde Argentina ¡! estoy explorando tu canal y me encantaron tus videos ¡! gran trabajo ¡!
then the chorus would be "Wake me up on time". lol. LOVE IT!
Your interpretation of german accent deserves a medal!!!
What if Marilyn Manson wrote Thriller?
Introduction
If Marilyn Manson, known for his controversial and provocative style, had written “Thriller,” the iconic song originally performed by Michael Jackson, it would likely have taken on a very different tone, theme, and aesthetic. Manson’s artistic vision is characterized by dark themes, shock value, and a unique blend of genres that often challenge societal norms.
Lyrical Content
Manson’s lyrics typically explore themes of horror, existential dread, and societal critique. If he had penned “Thriller,” the lyrics might delve deeper into psychological horror rather than the playful spookiness of Jackson’s version. The narrative could focus on darker aspects of human nature, perhaps portraying a more sinister relationship with fear and death. Instead of merely depicting a thrilling night filled with monsters and ghouls, Manson might explore the internal struggles of an individual confronting their own demons or societal monstrosities.
For example, instead of lines that evoke excitement about dancing with zombies, Manson might write about the isolation felt when surrounded by people who are metaphorically ‘dead’ in spirit or mind. His version could include references to personal trauma or societal issues such as violence or addiction.
Musical Composition
Musically, Manson’s rendition would likely incorporate elements from industrial rock and heavy metal rather than pop and funk influences present in Jackson’s original. The instrumentation might feature heavier guitar riffs, electronic elements typical of industrial music, and a more aggressive vocal delivery. The arrangement could shift from an upbeat dance track to something more haunting and atmospheric.
The iconic chorus might be transformed into a chant-like refrain that emphasizes the darker themes present in the lyrics. Instead of inviting listeners to join in on a fun dance with ghouls, it could serve as a warning about the dangers lurking within society or oneself.
Visual Aesthetics
Manson is also known for his striking visual presentations in music videos and performances. If he were to create a video for “Thriller,” it would likely be much more graphic and unsettling than Jackson’s classic. Expect elaborate costumes that reflect gothic horror aesthetics-think Victorian-era influences mixed with modern punk elements.
The choreography would probably take on a more chaotic form rather than the synchronized dance routines associated with Jackson’s work. It might involve theatrical elements reminiscent of horror films or performance art pieces that provoke thought about mortality and fear.
Cultural Impact
Manson’s version of “Thriller” would likely spark significant controversy due to its darker themes and visuals. While Jackson’s original became a cultural phenomenon celebrated for its creativity and entertainment value, Manson’s interpretation could polarize audiences further-drawing both criticism for its explicit content as well as acclaim for its artistic boldness.
This reinterpretation could lead to discussions around censorship in music and art while challenging listeners to confront uncomfortable truths about society rather than simply enjoying an entertaining spectacle.
Conclusion
In summary, if Marilyn Manson had written “Thriller,” it would transform from an iconic pop anthem into a complex exploration of darkness within humanity-both musically and lyrically-while maintaining his signature shock value aesthetic.
Any song sounds amazing by Rammstein, that's why they are the Best band in the world!! 🖤🔥😍
If rammstein wrote “get lucky” by daft punk. Trust me lol
Sounds way too good!
TOTAL SHRED!!!!
I hate that I love this as much as I do. I'm gonna go angry cry in the shower now...
You're fucking fire mate, don't change 😅
Frankenstein ‘s monster singing his breakout song after he’s brought to life. Just need a jacobs latter and a mad scientist screaming “ IT’S ALIVE!”
Never before a high note was listened so low 🤯😍
I'm honestly surprised that it not only sounds like Rammstein, but even sounds good!
Brilliant! Absolutely f-ing insanely brilliant!
What if Turmion Kätilöt wrote "Cha Cha Cha" by Käärijä?
Very cool as always ^^
While listening, several times I couldn't help but think "this would sound really cool if he was doing his System of a Down style".
Splendid cover as usual!
If Evanescence wrote Mein Herz brennt...
bloody banging dude..
Another Masterpiece
Terror lean back in style RAMMSTEIN
This is badass!
I suffer from chronic seriousness - these vids are a proven antidote 😁
If HATEBREED wrote 'HAPPY TOGETHER' by THE TURTLES
That's the only way for Ramsetein to be good
LEGENDARY...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
golden oldie right from the beginning.
I see, I click thumbs up even before listening.
Oh! it's a shame that you dont have the voice of Amy Lee because its would be great a version of Ohne Dich, Morgernsten or Mein Teil singed (in English) by Evanescence
