This song brought me to tears while playing Undertale, and it was such a perfect song for me to cover, I just had to do one more track from this absolutely stunning game. I hope you enjoy it. It's my new favorite video, give it a listen.

I'm serious. This has moved me. It's the middle of the night after a very frustrating day. I was unmotivated, frustrated, anxious about an upcoming semester in college, and feeling kind of worthless. I'm going to bed now, and I can't wait for tomorrow to come so I can tackle it. Because you've given me the DETERMINATION to face it head on.
So...thank you.
Isn't it amazing? Toby is a genius, having that oldschool 8-bit music through the game and then at the end he writes a piece for an acoustic guitar... how can one not get emotional when you finally understand that the music is for the monsters. And at last you get to feel their hope, they're soon going to be free while you walk towards the end, to your death, and yet it feels acceptable because of the empathy this song gives you.

This is amazing. This is exactly how this moment in the game feels. A friend described it as a tear-filled hug. It somehow manages to be both hopeful and hurtful. It makes my chest tighten but also I feel like it's uplifting. Congratulations. You both captured the duality of this song perfectly.
You guys brought it, with this. There's emotion, there's skill, there's passion, and it comes through effortlessly. I've know that you, Ace as well as Austin were excellent musicians, and now seeing Tera's work here as helped me find another talent artist to follow on UA-cam, which is awesome. Undertale's a really interesting game, and has powerful music on its own...but this rendition brings that emotional throughput even more forward with your selection of instruments and the unique flair you give all your work. Bottom line, I knew this video and song was going to be good when you first told me about it....but you blew right past any idea I had. I can see why it's your new favorite video, because it's just become mine as well. Thanks again, all of you, for putting this together....it's nothing short of amazing.

+Michael Peterson I second what +RiotGearEpsilon said, the furthest i went before playing it was Jim Sterlings 15 or so minute play through of it, which is where I first heard it, he does not spoil anything but hints that many things will have an effect later on and how the mechanics are suppose to work. It is a very unique RPG, in a good way.
+Noah Stevens before I played myself, I watched like 5 mins of Cry's playthrough, and thought 'I need to experience this myself,' it was such an amazing experience.

Man, this was so beautiful. Ace, you did wonderful at creating a landscape of sound to get lost in. Austin, you laid it down on the drums so well. Fit the tone of the song so well. And Tera, my GOSH, Tera. Just beautiful use of your violin. I can't love this track enough.

I listened to this song for the first time in a while today, and I was thinking "I hope someone made a cover, breaking down all the parts and individual instruments." I was not disappointed.

I commented on this the day it was released, but didn't give it enough praise for being such a beautiful song. All the instruments used hits the emotional strings just perfectly. I feel this video is criminally under viewed especially compared to other Undertale song covers released around this video's release, and this cover is my favorite cover of any and all Undertale song covers (not just the self-titled track, but of all tracks)

The banjo works perfectly. It harbors that sense of quirky serendipity the game absolutely teems with. Once the banjo kicked in with the main melody of "His Theme" in the background, I had to bite my tongue to hold back tears simply due to how fitting the instrument felt for Asriel and his character's sense of innocent familiarity.
The banjo's a simple instrument, whimsical yet honest, unashamed yet modest. Perfectly fitting for such a beautiful, brotherly character. I love him to death, and hearing such a powerfully effective representation of his entire persona hit me deeper than I thought possible. These aren't tears hitting my laptop. These are liquid happiness.
