I plan on doing Alphonse next week so you won’t have to wait long. His power set is very similar but I’m focusing on highlighting the differences between the brothers, like the fact that Alphonse is nigh indestructible.
The no haste is actually a con. Most of the time the cons of a build are super minor, this is a team game after all but even if allies get access to haste the quickened they'll give you can not be used with impulses or channel elements which will really really hurt you from lv13 onwards after casters can heighten haste to give it to the entire party.
I will add it to the list to look into further, but off the top of my head I’d say investigator with the vigilante archetype…maybe inventor if you want to focus more on the Batman v Superman version of the character

I hadn’t even considered that haste doesn’t even let you use your impulses. I guess that gives the sterling dynamo a bit more as far as usefulness.
To be fair, Im hoping that changes a bit with the upcoming remaster stuff@@time2dice
We can hope, but I don’t think so rage of elements is not one of the books that is getting a remaster, at least any time soon
