You're an excellent shot, my friend! I own a 640 pro with Pachmayr Diamond pro grips and absolutely love this gun. I usually pack a S&W Shield as my daily carry but i do on occasion carry this snubby .357. Stay safe and always carry!

There's a place in Arizona that makes moon clips that are better than the ones Smith sends with new revolvers. More rigid, and easier to load. Can't remember the name but I'm sure a quick search should bring it up.
squeeze or pinch the moon clips when loading and you will find that they enter the cylinder much smoother. Regarding the Smith & Wesson lock, I have "neutered" all of mine. There are several instructional videos on the process.
@markwestfall2934 Some people believe that the lock may engage while firing or, if dropped, rendering the firearm inoperable. I don't know if that's possible or not, but as someone who carries firearms daily, I don't want to be the finder of fact or fiction. Therefore, I eliminated the issue.
@@User7048 yah my dad actually used to carry a 648 and after several hundred rounds it locked itself while we were at the range. He sent it to S&w and they fixed it but ever since that happened I try to carry a no lock revolver.
@@RandyWittmann thank you bud. 158gr in the 38. And 125gr in the 357. The grips are from VZ. I’ve been using them for years. They make excellent grips for a lot of pistols and revolvers.
