The audience response to many of these tunes is fantastic! They've got the look, they've got the chops, and they play original songs. I predict continued success for this band.
I love them! The fact that they' represent vintage music and times its so admirable and yet they're so young! Very accomplished musicians that truly love what they do. What's not to love?? Keep going ladles you're truly appreciated!!❤❤❤😊
This is a great view of an excellent band. I have been watching these ladies evolve over the years and they have become pros. Their attention to detail is remarkable. You got a lot of great footage of their spectacular drummer Annie Lillis who is so fun to watch as she drives the songs, plus I like how her left foot is always flailing along.
@@paulj0557tonehead YES. I am a guitar player myself and am normally watching them because even after 40 years of playing, these two young ladies have been a breath of fresh air and have taught this old dog a lot of new tricks. However, when Annie's on the kit I find myself mesmerized watching her as she is a fantastically skilled musician.
The deal seems to be that the previous one had her own band and is concentrating on that. The brunette prior to her had a child, so she's busy looking after it. She also lived in New York, which made getting together more difficult.
Shermy plays a custom-built green flake "Creature" guitar crafted by master luthier Creston Lea of Creston Guitars. A very, very cool axe played by a very, very cool lady.
On social media The Surfrajettes have hinted at appearances in Portland and....THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST!!! They referred to Washington State specifically. Their website's gig list is now maintained by a different provider so we hope for less glitches.
Okay appreciate the video but a little instruction class how to pan and scan a show will be helpful , although getting a good close-up look at the music instruments...
@@thedave2429 Polina Draculina was the bassist for Messer Chups for a short while in 2018. And majorly resembles Keke. Btw, here's Svetlana's statement in 2018, quoted by a commenter on a music forum: "Was not my decision to leave MC.I was playing for 12 years. Oleg is the boss, his choice." Seems like she got sacked after the last tour (she was with them when I saw MC in Cleveland in October). Everything seemed fine with them at the time, and the band spent quite a long time after the show hanging out together at the bar. I will say, though, Svetlana commanded the lion's share of the attention at that show. Maybe Oleg feared becoming second banana in his own band?
@@bonsummers2657 Cool info, thanks! Yeah, Svetlana is a rather compelling entity. Haven't had the pleasure of seeing them but did see the 'Jettes on this tour. Met them afterwords and got introduced to Keke by Nicole when I said "and who might you be" Nicole said something like "yes, yet another bassist touring with us". They were absolute dolls. Warm, friendly, funny, patient. If you get a chance go see them.
'Satan's holiday' was titled 'In the hall of the mountain king' by Nero & The Gladiators when I first knew it a hundred years ago (Roughly). After that I could no longer claim I didn't like any classical music...
They are an instrumental/surf instrumental band, and the best one right now. Not only did the Ventures never sing on stage, but they stood rock still. And the audience loves her (listen to their cheering). I hope they never do any vocals ...
Surf guitar music is all about the vibe. They put out quite a vibe with no lyrics. They do an amazing job of covering songs with lyrics with just their guitars.
live stream IRL . Even once a week , I know they do updates they have turned it up a notch, great band , it would be great to add a weekly hour .I m really enjoying the Changes ...... again I'm a drummer , long time . She's really solid . Great meter .
Dude I wish I would have known they were gonna be here I would have went in a heartbeat, probably won't get that chance again at least not anytime soon sadly.

This band should do Nascar races. Hell NHRA drag racing fans would love this band.
They're uniquely talented and cute!❤
Great intro, the bass player is Keke from Los Angeles, filling in for Sarah Butler who is a school teacher in Ontario in real life.
Sarah is a Goddess!
I always wondered why Sarah doesn't make it to evey tour. Thanks for the info!
Keke is awesome. Playing in Surfrajettes is real-life, too!
@@leamanc Sarah has another band called the Millwinders too, so I guess she sometimes has clashing commitments with them.

They really know how to play. Great band. Thank you.
Always great when they get some new fans. Once you’ve heard them once you’re hooked.
THE SURFRAJETTES RULE!
Their look its awesome. They're great musicians! I know, I'm a musician myself. Go girls!!😅
Go Monica!! Shredding the lead guitar!!❤
Nicole...
Just love these amazing musicians 💜☀️
Thanks Katz 🐈⬛for filming them 🤗saw the at Viva 💕😬
Nicely Done Video !
Love Condor Pasa❤😊
Thank you for this video.
I love the new bass player! WOW!
She seems to fit uncannily just right.
Another great show! The stand-in bass player Keke is _very_ photogenic!
How can you tell, she’s hardly ever in the frame!

They are the best !!!!
They ALL SO WELL TOGETHER it could take off.😊
The news is out. Available to pre-order. SEVEN new tracks. Everyone's gonna love the cover!
I love to jam along with my guitar, Great Band.
Great intertwining guitars
Don't know what the deal is with your drummers but the one you got now hang on to her, she's awesome👍 🦊

love love love
RHH on the drums is Reverend Horton Heat who they are touring with.
Keke did a great job and she really looked like a total surf girl - WOW!
Way to rock!
I love that sparkly neck, and the guitar is cool tool.

They need a TV show. Sort of like the Monkees, or Partridge Family, or Hannah Montanna. Their videos at home are good.
Big Time Rush
Or maybe..., Surfrajettes Bobbleheads!
I’m liking Keke.
Cool sounds 🎉
I ❤ keke!
You can zoom out occasionally, you know that, right?
Sin Sarah, no son nada. Sarah ❤

Who's the woman in the thumbnail? And did that bassist used to be in Messer Chups for a brief time several years ago?
That would be Keke. Svetlana is and has always been the bass player for Messer Chups, but they do have a resemblance.

Nice film references, but they should be in a Tarantino movie.
The photography is awful, the music is great!
I bet there was someone else making a more usual vid. They just need to get together and cut between the closeups and the longshots.
Nicole and Shermy need Marshall stacks..blow the roof off....ha ha.😘
Theirs is and always be a fender sound
What happened to the bass player?
Where's big red.
She is a schoolteacher and can't always tour, especially now they're touring more.

Interesting demonstration of how NOT to video tape a great band!
Horrible camera work of a GREAT band! Love these gal; strongly dislike all the camera movement and shots of this video! 😠
