    Russ Anber specifically separates bag and sparring gloves since he uses different density. He understands that its not about the weight but the material of the padding that matters.

    Hello I really enjoy watching your videos because I and Odd many people use the reviews to choose the right equipment
    I have a question, Should I take a glove XL or L I have regular hands.
    According to the measurements of RIVAL I have to take L but I understood
    from forums that these gloves narrow. What would you recommend?

    I just got these gloves & it's taking me a while to get used to angle of impact on the bag. It feels awkward to hit correctly with the first 2 knuckles & I find myself compensating for the shape of the glove for a more satisfying connection. Also they are VERY hard so hoping they break in a bit more. Curious if this is something you noticed?

    • @ratethisgear

I have torn skin on my hands from the first hour of use (had wraps on too). I’m feeling off about the purchase since I’m literally getting blisters and am wondering about returning them.

    • @virtaneugen95
      @virtaneugen95 5 років тому +1

      I haven't tried other gloves from them yet, but on this one, for me at least, the thumb is on the short side (I've got them in size L). I've used them for a while now, but my thumbs still go numb every now and then during training (the thumb compartment is also quite tight). The other fingers fit fine.

      i like them both its really a preference. i like the Velcro system better in the rival. however the ultimatum gloves you can use for sparring where the rival are just good for the bag (evolution bag gloves). so you decide. both great options

    I'm used to using 14-16 oz gloves. Does getting an XL (14 oz) mean the hand compartment and overall glove will be bigger too? or is the sizing just referring to ounces?

I just interested to know how those fairtex bgv9 are because they should be different from their other models and I know the quallity of gloves hand made in thailand is very good in most of the brands and fairtex is a premium brand in thailand..and there is a lot of brands over there. rival has a lot of models and not all of them made with genuine leather, fairtex are 100% high quallity leather
