    Mr Obilo,
    Thank you for letting us know about these historical events through your breathtaking interviews with the family of those who were affected.

    This is both enlightening and deeply thought-provoking. Years ago, a prominent islamic figure who was assassinated too suggested that one of the reasons behind Bola Ige's assassination was his determination to resolve Nigeria's persistent power issues. Allegedly, he had viable solutions and was ready to implement them at all costs. However, those profiting from the country's energy challenges reportedly couldn't allow him to proceed and took drastic measures to silence him.
    Note: Opinions on this matter may vary, and everyone is entitled to their perspective.

      Everywhere was thrown into mourning. He had this influence that was stronger than most political office holders then, even than the President.

    Wow! People kill what they're afraid of! This statement left me wondering what they're afraid of. Reaping from the suffering of the masses is now a legit business in naija. Even when these killings are concealed, but God knows best.🙏

    Mrs Funsho Adegbola has said it all. Baba should have rekindled his security architecture after the humiliation,whereby his cap was removed at Ile-Ife. I did not opportuned to meet him,but i grew up in the old Oyo state as governor,where his finger prints are still glare for everyone to see. Nigeria is not a country one can proud of in all spheres.

    When senior journalists like Jimi Disu always attempt to white wash Obasanjo on Lagos radio.....it is funny

    • @Ninenifea
      @Ninenifea 13 днів тому

      How does JD whitewash OBJ? When OBJ talks about OBJ, he usually says "you must give it to him" and it is usually when he wants to talk about how he handled foreign affairs and other state matters. He says the same thing about Tinubu being a master politican. People need to know how to separate issues from personalities. As bad as the media painted Abacha and rightly so, he had his good sides. Part of critical thinking is to evaluate issues and not throw a blanket on any one issue. Have a good day.
