Mike Pitan Talks West Coast Steelheading

On a recent trip from this season, we asked OPST Ambassador Mike Pitan what was different about coming out West to target steelhead vs targeting the steelhead of his Great Lakes home. There is something super cool about being that close to the salt water and targeting fish that have only been in the freshwater for hours or less. But don't let us tell you!

I can identify with you Mike as I love my Great Lakes steelheading. I was able to swing for steelhead in BC and was wowed by the water clarity and the scenery all of which made for a great experience.
