Kaba thought violence was the answer and found out that when faced with armed cops you better get on the ground and submit. No firearms officer should face a court. An investigation yes but not a court.
That's a dangerous perspective. Here in the States, in general, we have whats called "qualified immunity" which isolates government officials in exercise of their governmental duties from jeopardy, but this has been abused and has had to be refined and adjudicated significantly. From what I've read, with the car in police control for danger, and Kaba unarmed, the circumstances would well have been brought before a jury here.
I was a rifle marksman with Strathclyde Police in Scotland between 1979 and 2004, successive chief constables put in place pretend procedures which would take place after a fatal shooting by a police marksman but whenever one took place the procedures were put aside and the cop was dealt with as a criminal who had committed a Murder, he was in fact a pariah until such time as he was acquitted years later by a court. Typical woke Police Bosses at all levels terrified of having there Career CVs viewed as dodgy, any shooting incident was regarded as a career stopper for the senior incident officer no matter what the outcome, they even instigated a self activation procedure where armed cops could activate themselves in order to deal with an immediate situation taking the onus and responsibility being taken away from senior managers, totally pathetic.

On the night of 30 April 2005, Rodney was driven by associates Wesley Lovell and Frank Graham in a hired silver Volkswagen Golf. The three drove across north London after they were observed by police to pick up three weapons, believed to be MAC-10 sub-machine guns. They were seemingly unaware that their car had been under surveillance for some time and that it was being followed by armed police in unmarked vehicles. It was later revealed at the trial of Lovell and Graham for drugs and firearms offences that they had been under police surveillance for two days and that the car had been tailed for several hours on 30 April.[9] According to information later released to Rodney's family by the Independent Police Complaints Commission, the armed police following the VW Golf moved at some point to "State Red", meaning that the car was to be intercepted as soon as possible.[9] This occurred as the car was passing the Railway Tavern on Hale Lane in the London Borough of Barnet at 7:43 pm, the police using a manoeuvre known as a "hard stop". An unmarked police Audi swerved in front of the VW Golf, a Vauxhall Omega halted alongside, and a third vehicle impacted the rear of the VW.[2][3] Fourteen members of the Metropolitan Police's Specialist Firearms Command (CO19) emerged from the cars. Hatton rounds - a form of shotgun breaching round - were fired to puncture the VW Golf's tyres. During this, a CO19 officer later referred to by his call sign of E7, who had twenty years of firearms experience, leant across from the front passenger seat of the Vauxhall Omega and fired eight 5.56mm rounds from his Heckler & Koch G36 Compact semi-automatic carbine through the passenger window of the VW Golf at Rodney, six of which hit him in the face, head, neck and chest.[2][3] An immediate police search of car found ammunition and three guns: a M1911 0.45 inch ACP Calibre self‐loading pistol; a Baikal pistol; and a smaller gun described as looking like a key fob.[2][3] A later search of Lovell's flat revealed that it had been used to produce a "significant quantity" of crack cocaine.

They talk of police being held to account, but that's all we have ever heard since the 1970s such that it becomes impossible for them to do their job. This case, like many, would probably not have been prosecuted if the criminal had been white. The police are reluctant to use Stop and Search for similar reasons even though the majority of violent criminals in London are black. We are going to lose the services of some of best police unless the attitude is changed. Incidentally, it has got worse in the UK since some event in the USA. Why? The UK and US are different countries despite the Labour Party thinking they can interfere in US elections.

Would I have run if I could TBH probably , as you truly feel in fear for your life and bear in mind i was TOTALLY INNOCENT .. I am a respectable member of the public, a CEO of a highly respectable company. I still live that night every day!!!!! and not even so much as an apology from the police officers who did it!!!!!!!!!
Jesus Julia, let the man speak. He was about to say several really interesting things and you interrupted.
*JURY delivered the Verdict... JUSTICE has been done!*
Gave up listening because he wasnt allowed to speak.
The Airpot
F#$k let the man talk, seriously and her questions are so long, most of her questions could be heaps shorter
Wrong person to do the interview constantly interrupting
She knows everything
The police better remember the only people who have their backs are the working class. Remember that when your giving out your tickets.
That’s right because there’s no wrong uns in the Working Class and minor offences never lead to anything, or anyone, else. They should ask people what class they are. No middle class people ever drive work vans.
I realised everyone had their backs after the two cops got meat cleavered after returning a missing kid to grandparents in Scotland 2020 at the height of the public/ media love. Ever hear of it?
They talk of police being held to account, but that's all we have ever heard since the 1970s such that it becomes impossible for them to do their job. This case, like many, would probably not have been prosecuted if the criminal had been white. The police are reluctant to use Stop and Search for similar reasons even though the majority of violent criminals in London are black. We are going to lose the services of some of best police unless the attitude is changed. Incidentally, it has got worse in the UK since some event in the USA. Why? The UK and US are different countries despite the Labour Party thinking they can interfere in US elections.
John, cops are leaving the service in their thousands, and no-one wants admit there's a problem. They are being replaced with kids, straight from university with a woke mindset and no life experience. The future of policing in the UK is very bleak.
Well the cop bounty hideing cops can nip it in d bud if they want black no such thing cant say it scools in irelans dont even have a black board its chalk board crasey
Good on ya Sir, thank you for your service, these chimps never learn do they, this is England not Kingston
Chimps……?
Is it true
Iopc can't be trusted because I watch a video saying a ex iopc manager was convicted for having under age children's pictures on a device???
So can we trust these type off people.
SACK INPRISON THE LOT OF YA
Julia, shut up for a few seconds and listen to your very interesting guest instead of us having to listen to you for 75% of this interview. If you don't want to then don't invite experts or those with experience on!
👏👏👏
The only time it was murder was when that boy mendez i think he was calked killed by five armed cops on a subway as he went to work rhey then realised after the shot him in the head five tines it wasn't the man they wanted that was murder 😮
Maybe the "Community Leaders" (whatever they are) should realise that decent people think decent cops' lives matter, real scumbag lives not so much.
What's happened to uk police?
He looks like Alistair Campbell
Muder 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What is muder😂
@@Lonsome1223 read the thumbnail on this video, then you tell me
L@@waynekerrr9027JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION WHAT IS A MUDUR
A police offer who shot an unarmed man in the head walks out of a court. Meanwhile we're jailing protesters who block a road for four years, with the possibility for a ten year sentence. Complete and utter madness
So you are blaming the Juries for this then, I guess as both parties were treated exactly the same until it came to the verdict deliverered by your peers
@@Slotplayer1 not just juries, not in the case of the protesters at least. The fact that legislation exists that allows peaceful protesters to be sentenced for possibly longer than rapists (minimum sentence for rape is 4 years) is absolutely ridiculous and shouldn’t exist in what’s meant to be a free democratic country like the UK
@breadstick4458 Well they were found to have broken the law so not quite that peaceful. If they stood on a pavement with placards or took part in an authorised demonstration they wouldn't have been banged up
He wasn't unarmed, he was driving a large car in a manner that placed officer in serious danger. You lack personal integrity.
@breadstick4458 you have very illogical view on peaceful protest your right to protest does not allow for you to infringe on my rights to get on with my day that was never in right to protest so no they should be in prison . These climate alarmist think they above the law when they are not . Protests are not peaceful when you are interfering with other people right to get on with life . Simple as .
