It is very realistic. In real racing they don’t push the car to the limit on every turn or they would damage the car or die. I’m sure this guy has done this course 100 times before he broke the record.

I mean it making sense kinda. Keeping the rpm's up so you don't slow so much when you land. It's just one of those things that drive me crazy you know. Lol
Yes and No, when your all four wheel is spinning faster then the ground. Its the same thing as lunching a car from 0 by dumping the clutch. which make it faster yes but also wear faster the tires and destroyed the engine. What I will do is lift on air, and before you touch the ground, you press it back.

Only pilot licence. The driver licence is necessary for driving between stages on public roads, but the co-pilot can drive there too.

In a rally race you rarely use your breaks unless youre trying to reduce your cars inertia
Look how often Sebastien Loeb uses his break in 19 sec: ua-cam.com/video/Kj_QACqTJE4/v-deo.html This guy has mad skills, but DiRT Rally always was an arcade game. That's why he's 99% full throttle and ends his jumps with a wheel position that would destroy a real car.

+Rondee Not random. When you go flat out and land on your nose too many times the radiator breaks down and the water tenperature will rise
That's why when you hear it, IRL you don't floor it over a jump too much. That Navigator tells you of incoming hazards and layout of the course but you're still driving him/her, both yours and the Navigator's lives are in your hands during hard and dangerous Rallies like this. But a kid could do rally IRL better than a rookie in a video game, so... Go for it?
He was also red lining the fuck out of it whilst in the air that will do it to
yes, and IRL you could manage the overheating by short-shifting (changing up gears earlier) to keep the revs lower, thereby you keep the airflow high but the strain on the radiator is lower. I often wonder if Dirt Rally takes this into account?
