Loved this video!! We missed out last Sunday thanks to a long lunch but we’ll be back this Sunday to try again! Especially before they leave 🥺 Thank you for the upload 👏🏽
Thanks for showcasing this. I've been to Auckland a few times but had no idea this tram line was hiding away. The trams in Sydney are making a comeback, but would you believe, are at capacity loading almost 24/7 - go figure.... What were they thinking getting rid of the things in the first place...??

Well done, takes me back to 1973. Keep em comin.
I would love to see an extension of this tram up Queen Street to supersede the Citylink buses

Speaking of Sydney trams, there's one preserved down in Christchurch (namely R class No. 1808, although she was renumbered to 1888 in 2018).
4:40, Saves weight due to tare weight and electric battery capacity. It's more efficient sadly.
5:05 would I tell you that that all Taurunga buses were mainly from Auckland and shifted with the contract?
Nice toSee some nice New Zealand trains
Thank god the trams are being transferred to MOTAT. I don’t know what I would’ve done if they had been scrapped instead.
