I got this watch from my wife when we married, and I have to say, this watch is the heaven. 3rd generation of overseas is perfect and sophisticated than any other watch.
I got this watch with 10% off shipped to Oregon back in 2020 for total 25k. Now the value went up almost 100%. Glad that I got this watch. Wearing it between VC and apple watch. Have a smile on my face everytime I put it on my wrist.
@@CultivatedWorld I was about to pull the trigger on this watch but have some reservations. One of the reviews was that the watch did not keep accurate time?? Also that it's very noisy is this true??
I would buy the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph (Blue of course) in a heartbeat. It's more refined, rare and more "srortswatch" than the Royal Oak, not to mention the Nautilus. AP is absolutely right: Known only by those who know. Think I will adopt that moto, I have been living by it my whole life afterall😍😎😁 Greetings from beautiful, sunny Greece. Theodoros
I would honestly like it better if the date dial would match the color of the main dial similar to that of AP in my opinion. It would make it more symmetrical or at least blend with the overall aesthetic of the dial. Nevertheless, it is still a really good watch in my opinion.
They have been going up in value over the last year, especially the blue dial. If it carries on like this they may well be selling over retail price in the next 12 months. We'll see..
In Asia especially the South East Asia market, V. C. is not a widely regarded known brand. As such, its price value retention is weak. Pre-owned prices on the Asian grey market shows depreciation unlike in Europe and Americas.
@@keltecdan If you don't care about the money I think this kicks Daytona all over the place. Have you seen the old gold blue dial skeleton perpetual unbelievable
vacheron CONSTANTIN . I don't care about residual value I think it's better looking than Patek nautilus. The perpetual calendar in all gold with blue dial is stunning
The blue dial version has been steadily going up in value over the last year. If it carries on, I wouldn't be surprised to see them creep up above retail price in another 12 months.

I have to disagree with you on this regard @@CultivatedWorld . VC value never appreciates historically on grey / pre-owned market. There are little to no evidence that demonstrates or shows otherwise. Even for this overseas model, I have not seen any strong or consistent demand regardless of raised asking price on grey / pre-owned market, let alone in Asia. Many people whom I met often owned either AP's Oaks or Patek's Nautilus but never VC overseas. They perceived and classified VC as a lack lustered brand that lacked strength in delivering consistent brand value results to the table. Good video presentation @Cultivated World.
@@watchPaige I have nose for you I can buy any watch in the world The only watch that doesn't tank too much as a Rolex even Pat tech can tank unless it's a 5711 or a 40th anniversary. This watch will go up and value in future Believe me when I tell you that. Every watch that I've ever bought I've lost money on and I've had some pretty good ones from AP Patek. Including Rolex. One thing I will tell you about Patek watches. If you want to keep it wrapped in plastic and never wear it that's one thing maybe you can make money on it but if you wear it it will lose value like anything else my friend. Everybody dies enjoy the things that are more beautiful and enjoy it forget about depreciation
Royal Oak and nautilus not 100m water resistant. Me personally I’d rather have the overseas. Sure it doesn’t have the popularity of the others but it does have the history and credibility in the watch game.
I agree with you JAPD. These other brands offers good intrinsic brand value returns and their retail and grey / pre-owned sales record shows. Rolex is still the king of the Swiss watch industry for 2020 - 2021.

Yes, this is the most beautiful chronograph I ever seen, and it's definitely more beautiful than the Nautilus or Royal Oak IMHO

VC and FPJ co-own the dial manufacturer Les Cadraniers de Geneve
Known by only those who know! Great slogan for a beautiful watch. Love the blue dial.
The best sports watch on the market. Love❤ VC
Stunning dial!💙
So classy !!!!
Very good video. I like watch. Thanx guys
Thank you for watching.
for me.. the Holy Trinity is topped by VC... 100+ more years than Patek and AP .. and they have that coveted and not easy to earn Geneva seal.
Great video. Brilliant watch. Love everything about it, except the date window.
Blue Dial 😍. My grail watch
Love this watch! And the time only 4500v but prefer the discontinued brown/bronze dials.
The brown dials were very nice, it's a shame they were discontinued.

Great video! Might you consider Doing a review of the previous generation overseas chronograph 49150?
How to get one seems difficult now that blue dial is now boutique only. (UK)
A watch for true watch lovers ! ... NOT for the posers and Hypers
Absolutely stunning, and that quick change on the bracelet is pretty slick with the leather & rubber straps
Classy & cool
The interchangeable bracelet does set the Overseas apart from other watches on the market. Thanks for watching.
Nah really. Hublot and some other independent to small brands do offer similiar featured functions as well. Good review though.

I adore this watch, such a shame it loses so much value in a few years... deserves much better respect and desirability..
I totally agree! I would much rather have one of these than a Daytona.

Honestly, chrono version does not look impressive. The beautiful dial is ruined by the complications. The non-chrono Overseas is the one to have.
