@@GoingGlobull the British have had a problem with immigrants from the day I was born, why is there never a problem with immigrants who play in the premier League? Immigrants and immigration has never been the problem, just another con like Brexit was a con. No investment in every sector of British society is the problem. 50 per cent of the UK land is owned by the King and the descendants of the Norman invasion. It's always been immigrants, then it was the EU now it's immigrants again, but it's never the British government is it?
@GoingGlobull nobody has voted against immigration. The Tories have repeatedly broken all immigration records. Anyone voting Tory in the past 2 elections has endorsed this. Facts matter
What the politicians promise ie what people vote for and what is delivered are not the same. People voted for and persistently poll for wanting less immigration. Multiculturalism in this country has been anti-democratic and imposed on the native people. As for British people being against immigration, this is not a uniquely British perspective. Can you give one example where a mass movement of peoples into a natives people land has been welcomed with open arms, wished for or happened without resistance? People who try to suggest the British (mostly the English) are uniquely xenophobic or racist clearly have no understanding of the world. In group preference is repeated across the planet for almost all of recorded history. In the coming years as immigration patterns change you’ll see exactly the same conversations the ‘racist’ English have being had by Africans, Caribbeans, Asians and in the Middle East. In fact those conversations are already happening. People want to maintain their own culture and way of life. Why should the English or the British be any different?

Towns and cities grew with industrialisation. Cottage industries were wiped out by factories. Farms needed less manual labourers thanks to machinery. People moved out of smaller towns, villages and hamlets and in to industrial areas, often creating slums, to live by the new work. But deindustrialisation happened and all these towns with a population density originally attracted by work suddenly have no jobs. So what do we do next as a country? Employment opportunities in more modern times became massively too focused on London, creating the dreaded ‘commute to work’ as we can’t all live near our employer, with much of the country left behind. People ether need to move to wherever (???) the new centres of employment are and let these towns die, or somehow establish new jobs (easier said than done) in these post industrial towns. I presume that’s what government empty waffle about ‘levelling up’ means
I met a few people from Stoke and all wonderful people. With so many people WFH, why for so many firms still in London and the South East. Stoke is only 2 hours by train from London. They move to places like Stoke.

Can't just blame this on the decline of industry. The pottery industry crashed along time ago and Hanley was a much better place in the 90s and 10 years ago...
The so called City centre is awful, but there are nicer parts of Stoke on Trent. Trentham Gardens pulls in people from all over the Country. The City centre has been affected by out of town shopping centres. Just like most other cities in this Country. Some of the areas in and around Stoke are really nice. The area of Trentham and the Westlands are as nice, if not nicer than most other parts of the Country. Stoke on Trent is more than a City centre.

There are a few nice pieces of traditional architecture. The boarded up ones could be fixed up nicely, but for that to work we would, of course, after demolish all the modern monstrosities. But common sense is not commonly accessible it seems.
I don't think the council have any money because they are keeping illegals in hotels and others in short term accommodation or B and Bs. Look at Birmingham they are broke.
Country side is about to disappear with starmers Labour in power
There not much people on the road like London it's looks so boring 😊
hey man would be awesome to see you take a look around Gloucester
Whilst he's at it he might as well check out Swindon too
Brilliant video again Bro ! Can the defibrillators be used to charge your phone really quickly ? Thanks !
NOT suddenly!!!
Ah, looks like a C19 jab rescue station
No, stoke voted and got Brexit, so now put up and shut up.
Interesting take. People vote consistently against immigration too, do you think they should get that and the people who don’t agree should shut up?
Looks depressing there. Cheers from Oz.
You know what they say stoke on Trent - bent.
Maybe it had a stroke
fully 'safe & effected'
We need change. The contry his broke
Spot the white man....there he issss
Hey Globull! If you can you should interview Daniel Hannan. He’d be a great politician to interview for your “what does it mean to be British” series.
Hey thanks, I’ll have a look into who he is for when I’m back
Looks like Sunderland
Look to your local council
14 years of austerity
You mean 14 years of not spending tax-payers money sensibly 😊👍🏻
It's been longer than 14yrs Liebour played there Part also.
Stoke did this to itself
Critically think: as to why there is more defibrillators than bank branches 🤔 Orwell’s dystopian 1984 and Huxley’s Brave New World is actually upon us.
Look like you out of ideas or money.
Haha I know
Just as well this isn’t a game of intelligence or money, it’s a game of imagination 😎

@@charlottebowes7666 his imagination is huge 😂. If y’all believe in any religion. Y’all need to do some inner work. Cause jezus was killed by people like y’all. People plotting hating spreading such hate. Y’all missed the point of religion.
Clubbing used to be good back in day, now everywhere closed unfortunately there only gossip ,pink which are gay bars. Club electric ok but still only 60 people in there. This why I go manchester instead of stoke on night out or blackpool. Stoke has had its days completely.
I'm from Belgium and i recognize allot of things in smaller local cities. Online shopping has created many empty buildings. It happens everywhere. If there is any new business it's likely to be some kind of food place. The drug & homeless problems we mostly see only in big cities like Brussel, Antwerp though.
Just a waste of money, when has anyone seen one beeing used? This is where the NHS money is being spent, companies who produced these things are robbing the NHS and taxpayers money
Can't just blame this on the decline of industry. The pottery industry crashed along time ago and Hanley was a much better place in the 90s and 10 years ago...
I kid you not, i drove through stoke on trent a few weeks ago, as quickly as i could. Seriously where are the English people gone.
😮
The so called City centre is awful, but there are nicer parts of Stoke on Trent. Trentham Gardens pulls in people from all over the Country. The City centre has been affected by out of town shopping centres. Just like most other cities in this Country. Some of the areas in and around Stoke are really nice. The area of Trentham and the Westlands are as nice, if not nicer than most other parts of the Country. Stoke on Trent is more than a City centre.
I don't and nobody else knows, but it's getting scary. Storm clouds are gathering.
It's so sad.
Stoke on trent might not be a affluent area but we're good honest normal working class people who would give the shirt off our backs to help someone.
dude it was like that 20+ years ago..... there used to be a good club called the jack of hearts. I visited stoke one weekend once....
I drove down a side road in Hanley a few years ago looking for a shortcut I was about to ask directions and noticed the road I was on the boozer and most of the houses were boarded up so I put my foot down and got out of there but when I did reach my destination I had a lovely walk so definitely nice parts of Stoke-on-Trent.
These vids are pointless. Times have moved on. People shop online and work from home. Get over it. Stop trying to blame someone for progress.
Who’s blaming anyone for progress. It’s just looking at the current state of some towns. Many people around the world have no idea what England actually looks like
It’s not progress at all you dweeb.
It’s Daniel what are you talking about? I’ve been to towns which looks good. I’ve said in this video that Stoke looks like many other English towns, which it does. A shithole
You been to many poor countries. And u complain about England. You ungrateful son of b*tch.
I think you need to do some inner work Daniel son
Damn shame. I grew up close to Stoke, went there many times in the 90's, it was a lively and bustling place, I've got some fond memories. Nowadays I very occasionally get there for a gig at the Sugarmill and it's just shocking how the place has deteriorated.
They spent all the Tax Money on Defibrillators instead of fixing up the Town.
Vote reform to fix your community
same all around the country import the third world end up a third world country
Maya because in the past the took all the money from Africa dimond money from gold now they come to who colonised there countries you want them gone give back the money and thingy and they wouldn't need to come here.im jamaican Christian you brought us here why didn't you leave my family in jamaica because I never wanted or asked to be stolen from my ancestors then brought here
A great set for The Walking Dead. In fact the locals can be left in as they look perfect.

Do all of the defibrillators have something to do with a certain vax everyone was taking?🤔
not me

Stoke is a huge place, Hanley is the worst of it and all that's shown here. I moved from Stockport last year, and honestly I prefer Stoke lol. The close proximity of places like the Potteries, Trentham and rural towns on the outskirts are all appealing.

If you went to the actual town of Stoke, you would have been ridiculed for having parents that aren't cloaely related. @GoingGlobull
Bro I've a friend which she moved from London to Stoke due the rent price , she told that she used to rent a studio flat in London for the same money she rents a two bedroom apartment in Stoke. I don't know if that's the difference ABT rent. Cheers from Toronto mate
Should be able to rent a 3 bedroom house for the price of a studio flat in London.
Blessings from France ❤️
Really enjoy your videos. Would love to see you travel around asia. It would be nice to see it from a different perspective to most vloggers who do it. Take it easy mate
