      hi Vanessa. I went detox a year ago and kicked my methadone habit and crack and gear.. I was working a year and doing brilliant. Anyway i relapsed about 4 weeks ago. Told myself I was just going to "have a treat" ...my point is it was the worst thing I ever done by picking back up..my job has gone allready and I'm heading back to rehab. I start script again next Friday.. Keep at the good work bab OK. you can do it..any time u want a chat aswell then holla OK..Anyone being horrible comments about addiction are just scum cunts... be lucky and stay positive OK. Most people that judge drug takers usually are the 1s that get pissed every Nite and go home and slap there poor missus up.. nuff love Vanessa. brave strong girl u are X

    I started doing drugs since my teenage, got addicted to Crack. Spent my whole life fighting Crack addiction. Crack addiction actually destroyed my life. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

      I always admire those who beat their addiction. Knowing it's possible to fix your life knowing there's people out there that have done what I thought was impossible gives me hope I will make it through as well. Those who share their experiences don't know how much it helps when you're about to give up, it gives you the strength knowing somone who actully know what it's like to go through this tell you it's possible, it's not the same somone telling you you can do it when they have no idea what it's like, but hearing somone who knows what it's like that helps a lot since you understand it firsthand and made it out so thanks for sharing.

      Thanks to everyone for helping me understand, I want to understand if it's
      something that can help me solve the problem (I have c-ptsd)

      I've been using internet drugs since I was 16 years old and agreed. MXE was my first research chemical which is the holy grail. We need less fear mongering and more stories from it's users. Being in the rc scene I've seen some heart breaking stories, lost friends, have my own awful stories along with nearly losing my own life. If I realized the power in my hands I had at 16 getting literally anything I wanted... Idk I probably still would have done it since I'm an addict. Bad idea but I know my brain.
      As for my warning for the love of God youngerns stay away from rc benzos and stimulants. Be easy with dissociatives and psychedelics. They can treat you right. Don't abuse dissociatives either pls. Dissos are awful for you, tolerance doesn't go away. Get test kits if you use. Test your chems. Trust your vendor. Etc.

I personally have no idea what they put into it... But if I was told it was make from fire hydrant crap and whatnot I couldn't see myself running towards it. We need to treat the cause not the symptoms. Not only in America but everywhere else in the world we need to address the socioeconomic inequity and make big changes to how things are run before we ever see a change. People want to use drugs because they want to escape. They want to escape because the worlds fucked up and most of them are in poverty and poorly educated.

People don't wake up one day and say to themselves "I want to be an addict". I pray that all addicts hit rock bottom so they can start their recovery and that's all I can do. You can talk to an addict till your blue in the face and nothing will happen until they are ready!

      Although I like the overall nature of your comment, I gotta say that some people's "rock bottom" is death.... God forbid it's a situation that gets out of control and an innocent person is killed. Either way, sometimes a life is lost before the person can overcome their addiction. Be very careful what you pray for, and how you word it...

      @nazariog.1155 5 років тому

      @@tylerherndon3650 in recovery is very well known that "some of us have to die in order for others to live". What that means is that indeed rock bottom for some is death, but their death is not without purpose. I know that first hand. I was in a recovery center when a good friend of mine died of an overdose. I understood then that it could happen to me and I honor my friends memory by not using and when I have a "using thought" I think about my friend and the consequences. So I do know what I'm praying for and I know that death is the sad reality for some addicts!

      Cannabis is more expensive due to the drug laws, its harder to produce in quantity and smuggle than synthetic drugs. The war on drugs has created the synthetic drug problem. Tight drug laws encourage the drug market to make more potent drugs, that are cheaper, smaller, and harder to detect by police.

I feel alot of people know how bad addiction is but the ones who never delt with addiction dont realize how bad it truly is so if anyone has never been addicted to anything. Yes u have every right to belittle the users but in the end it's wrong to put your selfs above anyone when u dont know them or the past they had lived so plz guys think about the harsh comments karma has strange ways to show its self

      You know how this all got started tho right ??? We can thank all the ppl wearing the long white coats that we turn to when we need help ,oh and Purdue pharma also, for lying to the public when they first introduced oxycontin as being a breakthrough drug that is an opioid that is not addictive, yes bullshit a non addictive opioid, yea bullshit cause thats impossible but everyone bought into it and hyped it up and the doctors pushed it on everyone because they were getting the big kickbacks from Purdue pharma for prescribing it. Then as everything it all went to shit and now their kicking themselves in the ass ! Cause they started this epidemic by pushing painkillers onto everyone and then they decide to stop prescribing them to ppl after they got them all addicted, so what is an opioid addict gonna do , just sit around and br sick , no, they'll go start using heroin cause it was cheaper then spending 60 to 80 bux on a single pill. Its outta hand , no question, but I'm sorry I personally blame the doctors and the pharmaceutical companies and our Gov't. Cause all 3 had their hands in the cookie jar when they were raking in millions of dollars from prescribing it to everyone and then got everyone addicted. Now look what they gone and done. It's all their fault tho for pushing this drug onto ppl to use in the 1st place and then it just spiraled from there. I think that's what they wanted, I don't trust our govt at all, they could give 2 shits less about us, all they want is our tax dollars thats it !!! Just like they introduced AIDs to the world also for population control.

    I'm down to 22mg of methadone from 84mg at my highest. I was at 56mg 4-5 months ago, so it's been my biggest cut in a certain time. I don't consider myself "clean", I've said clean from the "hard stuff", though methadone is a decently strong opiate. I don't spend my whole check on oxys/H then suffer through withdrawal until I had enough money or my guy was out. I snorted oxys for around 7 years, smoked H for around 4, then now methadone around 4 years. It hasn't been fun or easy, but I've been able to taper when my mind is ready. I'm not sure if the UK was any methadone clinics, but it's helped me get my life back. It was replacing one thing for another, but I was able to function and have a plan for tapering instead of just going cold turkey. I just quit smoking cigarettes and am beginning to find joy in things again. I wouldn't wish this pain on anyone.

      @@skullrose8985Thanks, Started heroin at around 18 but if I'm honest my drug use was probably out of control by the age of 15 with amphetamines and all the party stuff. I eventually got of the heroin age 30ish using methadone but that took 10 more years and numerous attempt's, (now 43). I think the biggest thing that helped me (apart from friends family & my drug's worker) was getting a job and becoming more self reliant. Another part that was also important was me choosing it. As Viking stated, "my choice" I had to choose to get clean, to choose to get a job. I don't know how much sense that makes but it felt like it was important.

    Thank you to all the people working to help people. Stoke is a good place with kind people and we need support and funding and recognition. Not judgment and further cuts.

      @Jason Voorheez You're right, I didn't want to bring the weed thing to the table, since even I smoke sometimes, but I guess I was referring to hard drugs, such as the Dust, Meth, Cocaine, Krokodyl, those kind of drugs are no joke at all, they can destroy so much a person in such a little time it's scary. weed on the contrary has many positive sides, helps people with depression, anxiety, food disorders, chronic pain... of course I'm not including weed, though I won't recommend young poeple to smoke it at least after they reach certain dregree of maturity
