Them were some nice Trails! Where in Onaway is this? We go up there in Oct. to deer hunt, and we have road red bridge, Indian river, and black Lake, as well as Atlanta, but do not know about these. I do not enjoy them close call much either, glad everyone was ok.
I taught my wife how to ride my 21 Honda Foreman I just sold my $450r now happy with the way the power was delivered. Power is way up high how does this do on slow trails around 25 mph trails? Should I just skip over one that's local to me in good shape and the price is not bad? And by the 400ex?
With the big bore and power valve I have power everywhere. A stock bore trx250r isn't peaky power like you'd get on a mx durtbike 2 stroke. It's pretty much made for the woods. But the problem would be if it had a stock motor or not. If someone ported the motor for like dune riding it wouldn't be fun in the woods. But if is a stock ported motor you'd be good. Mine is built and set up for xc racing and is set up for tight trails. A 400ex is a excellent choice for a good quality trail machine.
@@dirtsquadatv2714 thank you that's much appreciated I didn't even think about if the motor had something done that suits the other owners riding style that would really come in the play for sure
@@mzondi1970 thanks for watching I really appreciate it. Hopefully you find something tat suits your riding style a 400ex with a suspension upgrade really makes a good trail machine
@@dirtsquadatv2714 of course you can only believe what somebody tells you but he says it's just a stock piston and stock rebuild no bore it's basically a stock motor. He put all the money in the plastics and the wheels it's very nice looking. I wish he wasn't so far away I would go check it out it's about 100 miles one way
I'm running a stock frame gusseted with a 363cc esr pv engine only thing stock left is the air box and rear swingarm. Thanks for checking out the video man dont forget to subscribe.
All us locals go the same way here to not run into each other it wasn't a big deal. Your right there is no one way. But we travel with the signs facing us on the 50 in trails.

In between atlanta and onaway. What's nice is the sxs cant get down these. Nothing against sxs but they sure do destroy the trails.
By the way love your videos bud
@@dirtsquadatv2714 Thanks, I just Subscribed . Yours are great as well!

Me too man
Snowmobile
We have them brad just needs to bust em out. He's my brother.
@@dirtsquadatv2714 oh yeah, I think snowmobiling can actually be funner than summer stuff as long as there's enough snow
It's a crap shoot in Michigan
I was unaware of "the wrong way" in the woods when trail riding, unless it's a private park with signs that say otherwise....

Where are you riding at exactly?
There trails up in onaway that come off the state trails. Over by the sink holes off m33
There are no 1 way trails i know of in Michigan
better have good brakes riding those trails
I got em fixed right before this ride
Do you run plus 2 a arms?
if so, do you think they are fine for trails?
Yeah I run +2+1 it's great puts me at 47.5 inches
@@ttatvoffroad2632 I race xc so it's pretty tight I never have a problem some guys like just +1
@@dirtsquadatv2714 Sweet, I'm getting some plus 2s for my 86 r
