PlantNet is an app that identifies plants. It’s crowdsourced and very good. Good luck!
It's so weird nothing on a screen works in my game haha.. It's just black. The game runs fine but anything on a TV screen is just black but the audio works, really bizarre bug
I would be interested to see gameplay for "Noita"
EIGHT HOURS? HOLY THANK YOU MORPH! for saving this boring a$$ Sunday 🙏 😭
I literally just watched all 8 hours with small breaks here and there. It's sunday, I'm happy
I know that it's not the norm for YT, but I love your long videos. It's a lovely companion for those days that would otherwise be interminably unpleasant. Thanks Morph!
PHOEBE ❤❤❤
It is the norm as you call it, but he is very very good at it. Morph is very very... Very good streamer. Did I just say very?
@@Gingerchalky !!
@@Lukelovell2 Agreed. Very!
@@phoebeknightarthow have you been? 😊😊
Madmorph was a Disney princess for a moment and that's a lovely story of saving a butterfly 11:46
I know! I loved the butterfly story ❤ There's something so special about rescuing an animal
I looved that little story! So sweet ;_; this man is so frickin precious T_T
I kind of love that there are different accents even though these people have all been together in their isolated community for a few centuries
Sometimes Harold would be talking and I thought it was morph lol anyone else hear the similarities?
Soft spoken me think
Me too 😂
An hour in a half in and my favourite part is Harold breaking out into a musical number. So beautiful and just so fun
Amazing game. I kind of feel there is a lesson here about judging others who appear to be useless or unmotivated. That everyone can be in a position of use even when they are not useful by traditional means.
I'm cackling at how much you compared yourself to Harold and the amount of times you struggled with the chop, coat, sugar section. Oh morph
You can always tell when you're looking at a passion project.
Such a lovely story about the butterflies. I'm planning to leave them some fruit this season and set up a bee drinking station since I really can't grow any flowers. Whatever helps 😁🦋🐝
Wait, butterflies eat fruit? I thought they only drink nectar
@@tiger_844overripe sliced peaches, bananas, and oranges work great. I've seen trays of these left out at butterfly conservatories along with nectar, so I guess it's up to what works for you. No honey though since it can crystalize in their system and kill them.
@@christinelachance oh wow! I had no idea! That's so cool!
That's so awesome!!! I have humming bird feeders and butterflies and bees love then too not just my hummingbirds. Just make sure you use plain sugar and water.. 2/3 sugar and 1/3 water..heat it up til it melts.REMEMBER TO NEVER USE FOOD COLORING...THEY CANT DIGEST IT❤ 🐦⬛🦋🐝🐞. Hanging flower pots are great 2 🪷💐
It's quite frustrating that everyone can message Harold, but he can't text anyone back, so he has to always give them messages in person. "Harold, this meeting could've been an email."
Also, WC is usually pronounced Veh-seh (like French letters V and C). It made it sound more fancy and dignified as people were often very embarrassed to mention anything remotely to do with toileting. It's how you ended up with commode. It was a type of dresser, then people would say "I'm just going to visit the commode" as posh slang for going to take a whizz, and thus, the fancy, elaborate, expensive French dresser came to be synonymous with toilet. Basically if you made it sound French, it was no longer rude.
Also the singing sunflowers used to sing Elvis Presley songs
I like how the Professor says "Harold?!?!"
The artistry in this game is truly S tier. This game deserves all the attention it can get. This is truly a piece of art, even though the All Water travelling systems gets nerve wrecking over time. Thank you for playing this!
now this game is full passion and I can't wait to see the full play through I can't imagine what joy the creators must have felt getting to do the last scene and finish the editing to say they are finally done with this passion project
This game is fucking gorgeous. So weird to think that everything was built by hand irl!
Man, the world back in our day (I'm 41) was risky. Metal slides, teachers performing dangerous experiments, bicycles with no helmets, riding in the beds of pick-up trucks (and don't get me started on street surfing)... What a time to be alive! I had an art teacher take us outside to create art one day. We set a very much despised rival hockey team's jersey on fire and we all took turns stomping the fire out. Then he framed it. He got in trouble for it, but we all had a blast. 😂
WC stands for Water Closet. 😊
Retro-futuristic games/shows are so neat. The mash up of old, science fiction, and imagintive future tech and asthetics makes for limitless potential. It's so neat! Everyone is so mean to Harold, though. That made me sad.
gotta admit, i didn’t realise how hazardous my own childhood would be perceived nowadays, and i’m only 26 🤣 almost everything you listed were highlights of growing up for me, especially when Mr Dunne ignited the whiteboard in a particularly explosive physics lesson 🤣 your youth sounds like it was colourful and exciting! i bet you’d be an absolute hoot at a dinner party! it’s a shame that today’s society wants their kids glued to TVs and games, instead of playing in the dirt or getting concussed from falling off a rope swing (ahaha… i did that… 🤣) or literally just climbing trees!! never let the youth in you die. if you can, climb that tree. make that thing. adventure down that one path you yearn to! it’s never too late to embrace what you once loved! i hope you hold onto the things from “back in the day” and still enjoy them now 😁💜
@@astralloser1177 i'm a bit older than you but still grew up in the 90's, it wasn't uncommon for kids to be in front of a tv watching nickelodeon, it's not "today's society" it's just a new coat of paint on something that got dragged before you and I were born. who do you think went on to take up IT positions to fix stuff when the tech breaks? Of course I also did my share of dirt romping and running through the woods, at least until the trees got cut and the playground was torn down so there was nothing left for the kids to go outside and do that was safe (and by safe I mean the next best thing was a half an hour walk down a road with no ditch to step off into to get to a cave that had been partially blasted to close it but people were able to get in anyways through another entrance) the last time i went out walking that road was one night where i went with some friends to a gas station up the road to get some snacks and for some reason the cops got called on us. i'm thinking maybe someone got squirrely because we were "loitering" gathering our energy for the hour walk back to our house, because I can't imagine our snacks were truly that threatening. I guess that's one thing people don't talk about enough; a lot of the places that we used to visit growing up are shut down or torn down, or they get actively chased out but by existing. I don't blame teens getting online to socialize. It's why i am online nowadays, I can talk with people my age that can teach me a thing or two that I otherwise couldn't because the pool of people online is much more brad than what i am able to walk to anymore. I'm too old to be dodging cars on the back roads anymore lol
I think it all boils down to how someone spends their time online; better to be learning something or working on something while playing a video like this instead of scrolling memes for hours on end.
Took me two days to finish watching this play through, fell asleep to it at night and had a nap in the middle of the day it was beautiful and relaxing all the way and made me feel abit sad at the end thinking Harold was the only human left in that world but I'm glad he stayed where his heart was. I glad you played this game and gifted us with such a wonderful video. Thanks Morph. 😊
I didn't really like the professor, I felt like she was just so demeaning and condescending the entire game, so when that emotional goodbye came between them I was just relieved she was out of his life.
one hour in and already wondering why everyone is so MEAN to Harold!!
Came here to say this! I got so sick and tired of how often people interrupt him, and how Mareaux would berate him for NO REASON, especially when he was just trying to explain something. It's like they don't see value in what Harold has to say.
@@fablemay1846 after watching the whole game i think how people treat him/his environment/felling bored with everything are all really important to his character and the story, even tho it's hard to watch. i could REALLY relate to him as an autistic/adhd neurodivergent type of person, slightly slower processing time so everyone is impatient, taking things very literally so communication is difficult, easy to tease/bully, the only person who seems to notice the flaws in the bigger systems and get really frustrated. this part is a spoiler so stop reading if you haven't watched the whole game ------ it was so incredibly refreshing to see the stoic and peaceful way the alien societies live, how they are slow, and straightforward, just enjoying things without the capitalism and passive aggressiveness of humanity, and what a precious, deep and innocent bond harold makes with weeoo. it gave me a lot of hope to see that and i could really relate. i think this game is really well written from my personal life perspective which is really intriguing
2:37:18 , I had this thought the whole time so far; why is this maintenance man doing all the scientific stuff? 😂😂
14 years to make? Wow. Incredible details and the animation is so gorgeous.
I have not been recommended any of your videos in so long but honestly such an underrated channel you play a lot of games that bigger channels don’t and are definitely one of the best storytellers on the platform!!!
2:42:20 Floxagerm its made to work for either medicine choice the scene would have been the same regardless your choice I think.
To my consternation, I was given homework whilst settling down for an 8 hour cozy binge 😂❤
some butterflies are incredibly territorial, and shred others wings to protect their territory. it's beautiful to see them zooming at each other but learning they're full of bug-rage is weird
This game looks amazing! I makes me feel so nostalgic. Thank you for showing it.
I'm around halfway the playthrough. Prof. Mareaux doesn't strike me as a proper scientist. She's not interested in the alien on board nor any of the alien culture. Only focussed on the particles and very short with Harold. I know there's a time limit, but anyone with a scientific mind would be absolutely thrilled. It makes me feel likes she's up to no good.
Exactly. I’m liking her less and less.
….inspecting, inspecting, inspeeeeeectiiiing 😂 the way she’s just in the background repeating this while MadMorph is talking, makes it seems like she’s trying to get his attention 57:53
I know it is pulled out of context, but… 😂 I lost it when I heard Harold saying: “Sure you don’t need me to stick my screwdriver in anything?”
No, Harold, it seems that the guy was not interested in your screwdriver. Sorry about that.
By the way, I enjoy this playthrough a lot. I enjoy characters’ movements, dialogues, Morph’s stories and the plot. It is a bit of slowburn story, yet very charming and intriguing. I am all into it and I want to know how it unravels.
Thank you, Morph, for introducing this lovely game to me and, as always, thank you for your video and for all your work that you put into it.
I laughed at that bit as well 😂
The set design at 8:05:55 is INSANE
The fact that that’s all handmade has me in awe
Like all of it did, but the perspective shift with the pan out with the magnitude of depth
Chefs kiss
This game is beautiful! I might have cried at the end... Harold and Weeoo really give queer platonic partner vibes :)) which is nice to have instead of the traditional romance ending of these kinds of relationship dynamics in media.
I think the lack of dialogue in the end really hit me. Throughout the game Harold spoke and explained, rationalized everything around him but there wasn't any more to say. There was no need for words. He gave a vulnerability he never did in the rest of the game as he laid his head on Weeoos shoulder, much like how one puts their head up to the jellies, I think he was trying to take some of Weeoos go with the flow in that moment where he was barely holding back tears.
This game is so beautiful! Happy to see you play it. Also, that story about the butterfly sounds magical. 🦋
I really like the animation of Harold, especially the way he walks(it reminds me of old slapstick movie stars like Buster Keston and Charlie Chaplin)
This game is so lively and delightful
Morph, the way you say, "Cute" just warms my heart and makes me smile. Amazing job btw, love this game
Finals week is the cumulative consternation of our student body's work of the semester. This is the perfect video to combat that! I love stop motion, some of my favorite films are done with puppets, and so a game like this is just so extremely satisfying. Major ParaNorman vibes! Thank you Morph!
You can actually use Google camera to find out different flowers and such, depending on the phone you have anyway. I just use Google camera, take a pic, and Google lets me know what it is I've taken a picture of. Also, this game so far is so cozy to watch, it's like a claymation from when I was young. I've not finished it yet but I just had to comment!😊
very interesting how this plays out depending on what you do in the game or don't do. I was like how did he complete it in 8 and a half hours, but then as i watched it i realized that none of the buddy missions were done. There is at least 1 or 2 more hous of the game just revolving around Buddy and his missions. And there is probably a little bit more dialogue in between the main missions if you search it out when you are playing, not a lot but some. Like there is quest or two with the 4 brothers as well.
Oh wow. I’ve finished watching it to the end, and I should say this truly is cozy game. Yes, it has some bumps here and there along the road, a villain, a challenge, a danger… Yet it is very chill and relaxed, at least that’s what I think.
It feels almost like I’ve just watched a long movie with Morph. It was nice and it actually made me think about many things.
Attention, spoilers below:
As for Slippie’s plan, I knew it was fishy from the beginning. As soon as I saw his demo for “launch”, I knew it was at least very dumb way to try to launch anything, let alone a huge spaceship.
I was hoping that Harold would stay. I was almost shouting at him in the end when he came to say goodbye to fish people. Sorry, I was not able to memorize their name. Flymelymyn? Fululumen? Ah… Anyway, they are cool and Harold won’t be dismissed there as he was at the ship, because fish people are different. They rarely need anything and if they want something, they seem to be more likely do it themselves rather than ask anyone else to do it for them. Also, I think that with a friend like Weeoo, Harold won’t get bored, because Weeoo has strong adventurous spirit and they will probably explore outer sea together.
And yes, it has Shape of water vibes. Also, there is strong similarity with Sky: Children of the light on their journey to the crack. By the way, I thought that they both passed away when their bubbles popped, and trippy dreams which Harold had were merely an agony of a dying mind. To be honest, I am still not entirely convinced that it wasn’t it. I guess it also says something about my own state of mind right now, huh? Slightly pessimistic and ready to accept sad ending. Although I’m glad that the game does not have sad ending, it still made me a bit teary-eyed. Why? It is a tangled mess of emotions and thoughts. I’m happy for Harold. He found his place and a creature he wants to be around. I’m sad that he had to cut short all other social connections that he’s made to this point. I’m angry that he even had to make such choice. I’m glad that other people who wanted to leave were able to finally make it. I’m scared because I feel like Harold too often: sometimes my life does not make any sense even to myself, I often feel that I am forced to do meaningless tasks, and it’s been too long since I was excited or happy to full extent. All emotions became dull by now. I still feel a lot, but it’s not as sharp as it used to be. I think it is some kind of coping mechanism, because there was too much pain lately. I take care of myself and do things that bring me joy, but joy is dull, too.
I did not want to fall into that pit again, but watch me go. Senseless Wastelands I call them. Last time I was able to pull myself out of it by appealing to my youth and bright future. I don’t think it’ll work now, because that bright future became dusty past. 😂
I have to find another good reasons to stay emotional.
Your playthroughs are one of them. It’s nice to enjoy your videos with a cup of hot tea on one side and one of my beading projects on the other. 😊
I'm always nice to customer service too. I set aside time before I call, because I already know it's gonna be a stressful event for both parties, so why be mean? Let's not ruin each other's day. I notice customer service is constantly apologizing, and I counter it by reassuring them that I'm in no rush and being gracious for their time. It helps my anxiety and hopefully gives them a bit of a break from a day of verbal abuse.
The entire library scene was funny and also Interesting.
Not morph making me cry at around 5:38:00
I could use a friend like you man. I needed that today
Thank you so very much
same 💖🫂
pfff I just fangirled over getting a heart lmao
A game 14years in the making, the least I can do is give it a play! I'm sold simply because of the effort. I want to encourage more development. I watched some of your video but I'm stopping here to experience the game. Return after my gameplay. Thank you for introducing this title to us. I don't think I'd have ever seen it otherwise.

Visual feast, very creative 🤍
From what I see there's a mix of trents from 50s to later years. The "Bunker aesthetic" is 50s, colorful and weird interiors are 60s-70s, and some of the furniture is solid 80s-90s. I'm not good with history, but I really like interior design, so that's just my vision of the game. :)
Thank you for another cozy and massive video!
Yes, yes, yes!! Thank you for this! I've been dying to see someone do a good commentary playthrough of this beauty of a game! ❤

Thank you for playing this for us, Morph~
You videos got me through my med school entrance exams and now you’re getting me through my weekly med school exams 💕
Yes, eight hours! What a treat. This is a gorgeous game.
thanks so much for playing the full game morph!! i got so excited after your short about this game. im excited to watch!! (probably over a few days lol)
im sorry but that pee scene was SO GROSS WE DID NOT NEED THAT
You are such a beautiful soul. Thank you for sharing this incredible game. ❤
8 hour stream is crazy!! Thanks for the entertainment 😊
holy! i didnt expect 8 hours of gameplay. ill definetely watch it. thank you!
Love old school one big video! I get why youtibers usually dole them out in small bits, but i miss watching them this way.
I'm 28 and I watch 8-hour WW2 documentaries... Have been for years lmao. Nothing wrong with wanting to learn about our history.
You are so sweet, gosh ;_; (The butterfly story was so flipping precious)
The Invincible is a game that has retro-futuristic qualities to it. A great story, too! (Makes me want to read the book, which is always a good sign when an adaptive work inspires me to look at the source material.)
Thanks for this playthrough 😊
What an artpiece, very well made game, congrats to everyone involved 👏
Loved how the Flumylym were portraied: no worries, just living their best life in the moment. Shouldn't this be our goal as humans too?
Glad for Harold with the ending 😉
Take care ✌️
The tube voice reminds me of the "Red Dwarf" elevator.
my god what a beautiful game. REAL hardcore creepy lookin, but still just about the prettiest ive ever seen.
Going to be making my way through this one slowly but really appreciate the effort! You are my comfort UA-camr x
Just got to the end and IM SOBBING
One flaw in the game... all the transport pipes go down.. so how do they get back up?
Thanks so much for this!! Was an incredible watch, what a unique and beautiful story
What a crazy game. As slow as it was, it was great. I was hooked
They should have done an inventory system like other point and click games.. And the decision in the end should be player made..
Thanks for sharing your butterfly encounter. Cool.
Omg I can't wait to watch all of this bit by bit. Thank you so much for this long video!! You are seriously the best
Just finished watching. Well that was quite a game. Thanks Morph for bringing it to us with your always great commentary. I felt somewhat emotional during the ending even though it was telegraphed. The game is so full of references and details that it almost deserves a second watch/play... although 8 hours is a pretty long!
this was an excellent experience. thank you for sharing it. congrats to the developers, an absolutely gorgeous piece of art.
There's an error in the title it's not "take" it's "took". Thanks for the video ❤.
oop, nice catch, I had to re-edit and upload this one a few times over the last 3 days cos of copyright music :( so got a bit muddled, thank you for the save
@@MadMorph 👍🏻
This game's art design and atmosphere is so unique and special, it's really a beautiful entry in the games universe. But to think it took so long in development, to be able to finished casually in such a (relatively) short single session.. kind of wild.
Been popping in and out on the vid. (Time thing,) Every time I watch, I like it more. Nice share.
I love the long format content and although only 4 hours in, I have 4 more hours of an already clearly fantastic game to look forward to on my long weekend! Thank you and please keep it up
Yay, a long one. This game looks beautiful. Thank you, Morph!
Omg Morph, you’re Harold 😂 minus the opera style singing. Don’t think I have heard you sing with such bravado
Btw Morph that’s what Google lens is for 😂
I'm really enjoying this playthrough. I love stop animation and claymation. Thank you for posting this, it's such an enjoyable watch for Sunday🤗
I would actually love to live on an island away from the hustle and bustle of society. I'm not a big fan of crowds, my energy feels drained completely around them. I put on a good face but when I'm done socializing I'm drained lol. I'm also pretty good at not wanting to do anything, though it's mostly because I don't know what I want to do or feel any desire to do anything. I do work on myself but I think it has something to do with so many people constantly telling me I'm wrong in wanting certain things that I have no idea what I want because I've always had people telling me what I should want. For example I wanted to sing in a professional capacity but was told by my mom that I was good but not that good when I told her my dream. It was always like that with anything I mentioned I wanted. What I wanted wasn't good enough, practical or was mocked so it's now a struggle for me to even decide on what I actually want.
Beautiful game, the depth and ambiance of every scene is so nice!!
That, was an experience. Thank you for sharing it with me.
Oh my gosh! Mega stream. You and most people will never know how much I needed something like this. Much love to you and the fam always 💜
I’m half through this game and let me tell you I LOVE THIS GAME!! ❤
I put this on last night when I got in bed and was just drifting off when you did that Come Dine With Me reference. It made me giggle in my slumber. Such a sad little life Jane... 😂 I've been watching properly today & am really enjoying the story and your little ramblings ❤
Just as I was wondering what to do with the rest of today. Perfect!
Mad dropping the beats in alien caves. i love it
YES!! So excited you are playing this
The butterfly story made my day🦋
great stuff.
i felt asleep 5 times by now around 4 hours in.
The pacing of this visual novel is just so very slow.
:0 8 hoursss?!
Thank you, Ive been without internet and tv for a full day and this is feeling like a reward :' )
This was incredible. The art, the animation, the music - absolutely fantastic. Thank you, MadMorph for playing this.
Does anyone know the name of the melody that keeps repeating - the one from the end of the video? It's so familiar yet I can't remember.
What a cool game and concept! The soundtrack is unreal!! It’s also available on steam for $10 haha. Thanks for always exposing us to the coolest stuff, Morph! You had me at Klaus.
That is amazing work. Thx for sharing the walkthrough.
Literally thought Morph was singing when Harold broke into song lol
Yaaaaay!! I finished this yesterday and I was hoping you’d make a video on it
Thanks for sharing. I know which video game I'm buying and playing when I get a new computer soon!
FINALLY!!! WAS WAITING FOR THIS!

Very lovely bravo! The animation scenes loved it watched the whole thing through
