  • Carl Fontana and his incredible technique on display. I first heard Carl on Kenton's "Intermission Riff" back in the early 60's and got to meet him when I was working at the Cal Neva Lodge in 64' in the lounge and he was working with Buddy Greco opposite the act I was with. What an honor that was all those years ago. Besides being the monster jazz player he could play beautiful lead in a big band if needed. Miss him.

      It's just Rhythm Changes.

      @1320_ikimasho well, yeah, but someone obviously wrote a melody and arranged it for big band.
