After you remove the slices, the shell of the pineapple has a lot of pineapple left on it. The first time I made the mistake of throwing it away. The second time, I squeezed it and juice started pouring out. If you break the shell into small pieces over a bowl, you can squeeze each piece until juice stops flowing. I get about 12 ounces of juice that I pour through a strainer from a small pineapple. If you have a ripe juicy pineapple, it will have a lot of juice left in it.
Thank you. This was the 1st video to pop up on my search. I didn’t realise some corers have 3x sizes though so I’ll have to look into that because I looooove fresh pineapple! 💛🍍💛🍍💛🍍😋
Thanks, this was just what I needed. Someone gave me the white plastic three bottom pieces just like what you have. I didn't know what they were or how to use them. It was missing the handle. After watching your video I used a screwdriver for the handle and ended up with perfect pineapple slices!
We bought one of these devices and lost instructions so this really helped. May repurchase one with different size coreres as ours only came with one size. Inherited 3 lg. pineapple plants in our move to Florida and they are very productive so we now know what to do!!! Thanks again for your very informative video.
Thanks just found this video. I have a corer that I’ve used for years but I could never figure out how to get the cut pineapple out without cutting the side of the pineapple open. This worked like a charm! Who knew it was as easy as twisting while pulling up?
If a pineapple if ripe, it smells you .you don't have to put it to your nose to smell it. You smell it from yards away.. that is what l mean by it smells you. Great gadgets.
Nice video question you line up the core twist the pineapple it's look easy but, for me its new take a little time to get the rhythm of doing a good removing the pineapple off the core
I think at 3:22 you can stop at that & start cutting off the pineapple rough skin. Once the edges are gone, you can get strips of pineapple, besides the pineapple rings as shown in yr. vid.
zxzv1 That sounds like an interesting idea...I'm not sure I understand completely though. Once you get the pineapple corer all the way down, your pineapple is already cut into the rings. And with the different size corer sizes, I always try to use the largest one possible for the size pineapple I have. For me, that wouldn't leave enough pineapple flesh on the inside to cut into strips. I guess if you wanted strips as well, you could always use the smallest corer and that would leave enough to make strips :) Thanks!
@@Mrsgooses I have two large pineapples to make a sorbet and my mum lent me the gadget so thanks for making this vid, it will help me out when I use mine!
It can be difficult to center the hole over the core all the way down. So then you can accidentally cut into the good part of the pineapple and then you also have pieces of the core in your pineapple rings. It’s a good idea in theory but I think I’ll stick to cutting it by hand.
Very good video. My grandson was being helpful and threw away the instructions! I used the gadget and did well but it's much easier when you do it right. By the way, ignore the superior male attitudes.
Then take the shell (rind) and squeeze the shit out of it into a bowl with a strainer to utilize the rest of the pineapple and have at least one delicious glass of pineapple juice the next morning. It's a game changer.
There are 2 ways. The first one is to cut the sides with not son large cuts and not so deep. Then when all the shell has gone, you look at the eyes. They seems to be aligned diagonally. Well, take your knife and try to follow the pattern and cut little stripes with the eyes inside. This leaves you with a diagonally carved pineapple that looks cool. The other way is cutting the shell with right cuts, giving the pineapple like a poligonal shape and always trying the eyes to be places in the corners between one cut and the next. Well, when you finish peeling the shell, then just cut this corners that includes the eyes and you will have your pineapple free of them. This a quicker way but you throw more flesh than with the other method.
Another 4 piece plastic gadget with one use only to litter up you kitchen and need cleaning. I could have prepped that pineapple with a knife quicker. You need a knife just to cut the top off anyway. Junk everywhere

Me encanta
now to go and find one =)
I bought something similar on Amazon. It only had one size.
Companies do seem to be making more of the single version. That size does seem to be good for most pineapples. I mostly use the medium size anyway.
Amazing
The issue with all of these residential corers is that they slice the pineapple. What if I don't want rings?
Then maybe this type of tool would be useful for you as it will help to remove the eyes without too much of the pineapple - amzn.to/2iixriw
thank you 😄
You're welcome :) Thanks for watching!
Really helpful I had no clue how to use this damn thing lol
What is the name of the knife your using
Zwilling J. A. Henckels knife.
Twist the top off place in water
but where we can find that thing in saudi arabia?
Amazon should ship to you, however, I've also found a similar product here saudi.souq.com/sa-en/pineapple-corer-slicer-stainless-steel-6301970/i/
ولكن أين يمكن أن نجد هذا الشيء في السعودية ?

No more can pineapple for me anymore
It is incorrect to say putting more pressure increases the depth of the rings. The depth is determined by the fixed setting of the blade

431,000 views on a video on how to core a 🍍??? WTF!!!!
I know how to use a pineapple wedger in the comparison of a knife and a wedger.

Nice video madam..I subscribed.. CHARUS COURTYARD
This video could have been 10 seconds long.
No, thats just a session of loving making in your bed.
Why am i even watching this....
I wanted to learn how to core a pineapple WITHOUT the use of some ridiculous, time consuming gadget.
