Why Do My Photos Suck?

Great video Jim! That "moment of impulse" all too often gets derailed by our brains making it conform to "rules', or conventions we've been taught. A great reminder to stick with your gut instincts, and find a way to bring that out in your images.

Nice piece. In the age of bigger, better, faster, newer nice to see some common sense and perspective on art and creativity. Training may help many, but 'vision', that is tricky and requires some real practice...

If you shoot digital, then it helps to take more photos than you need. Even so, it also helps to stop, think, and just look around without a camera even in your hand.
