This game brings back so many childhood memories man, it fed my infatuation with motorcycles like crazy, i wish they could remaster it for the ps5, this is still top 5 best motorcycle games ever made, if you grew up in the 90’s and you had a ps1, this game and metal gear solid was all you needed to start the weekend after school
I remember playing this back in the day, great racing game. The handling was amazing, an arcade racing classic. I remember unlocking the tiny super fast bikes. Would love a remaster. Forget remaster, I’d be more than happy if they released this as is on the PlayStation store with a nice shiny platinum. I’d snap it up in a heartbeat.

When this came out I got the CD for my birthday and was blown away by the graphics. How times change.
And also the amazing sense of speed in Moto Racer PS1. MotoGP23 should take note of this example.

I have sooo many memories of this game, mostly because it was my very first PS1 game! It took me weeks to complete it.
For me i only need 5 days to beat this game.

Me too. Karin Asaka and Ai Miyashita somehow both still have Moto Racer on their PS3 catalogue since PS1 games can be played on PS3.😊
It's easy to see how EA used some of this to make Road Rash 3D just year later.
Road Rash 3D is like Road Rash + Moto Racer 2.
Even in 2024, Moto Racer still is a masterpiece.

Speed boost/turbo - you gain about 3 - 5 mph whilst wheelying.
Which is, I agree, not realistic at all.
But it's an arcade game, so it's fun to wheelie all the way to victory!
