Depending on where in th UK some have fish and chips with tartar sauce and others (where im from in england) is salt and vinegar (dark malt vinegar) it's elite that way. You have to try chips and salt and vinegar.
As the others said mushy peas isn't a dip but hey do what you want😄

It's definitely a treat but I'm so glad you got to try proper fish and chips. As an Aussie we have a bit of a claim to it also. It definitely leaves you wanting some super fresh food after 😂
We used to have Doughnut Time here too but they didn't pay their workers or something and now there are none at least in Melbourne.

What was the fish made out of? I was in London a month or so ago and got fish and chips from Sutton and sons, the fish was made out of banana blossom.

I bought them both second hand. They’re from the 80’s. Mines is Coogi and his is a brand similar to coogi from about that time. These types of sweaters are really hard to find at a reasonable price and I’ve been on the lookout for them for years before I found ones that fit our styles :)

UK content is ヽ(✿゚▽゚)ノ The mustard part ... we all been there haha, I'm French and this is our staple mustard, it's very spicy even the non-''spicy'' one, it has a good kick to it ! English mustard is a mix between French and US, it's also very good on sandwich !

I tried vegan fish and chips this summer when I was in Wales. It was SOO fishy. I didn’t like it. But I hated fish before I went vegan, so it makes sense.

You can definitely use them as dipping sauce if you like but yeah they are more like a green or mash :)

Complain it doesn’t have flavor?? Silken tofu will soak everything up and then some. If you cook with it and want flavor, you reeeeallly have to go overboard.
It was flavorless before adding the tofu unfortunately.
