Hello garden of Eyes,Astel Nebula of Chaos is wonderful,for me i dont understend in first look why his location is in naturalborn of void,but i understood now because the laser and teleport and this very cool,please modific this location,complementy more stars details,more space lights and pieces of ruins for this boss
One little question,how Gundyr and Isshin will be used in mod,will be have more bosses in Garden Of Eyes? You will create more maps? The armors of mod will be rework and modifications?new Armors,Spells and Weapon?

@@pegasusrr3156 You do realize that this isn’t just importing models and just leaving them, right? They had to do some pretty substantial changes to the actual model to make it work. Not to mention the FX work

I think darkening the boss room of the Astel star of darkness like High Lord Wolnir would a great concept too
Universal teleport for attacks opens the door to add lorian and lothric. Hope to see them implemented somehow maybe as albinaurics similar to latenna
Good job, bro, you should upgrade characters like Lady Maria and Gehrman or Ludwig, they are both awesome bosses.
They where so focused on wether or not they could, that they never took the time to ask if they should.
Now that is a clever use of Orphan of Kos model
Combine the mad orphan with one of the most AOE bosses of ER. THERE IS NOWHERE TO RUN NOW

Tbf, I was expecting worse - that he’d have a first phase same as the regular orphan swinging the placenta around but leaving aoe nebula behind on EVERY ATTACK.

No. But you can always play DS3 Convergence. We (I wasn’t around at the time, so technically not me) worked hard on it.

Taking Orphan of Kos, one of the most nightmarish bosses in Fromsoftware history and a strong contender for hardest boss of all From games and giving it the powers of Astel. Okay. Just give me a second so I can already book my chamber at Arkham Asylum.

At this point, with how much impressive mods been made and cut content have been restored to many Soulsborne games such as here in Elden Ring, I think Vaati, Garden of Eyes and their teams should be able to make their own Soulsborne game at this rate cuz all of this is *awsome* !! No. As a Convergence Mod dev, I can safely say that we are far from making an entirely new souls game. But perhaps one day.
I think it's time you consider working on a game of your own, you definitely have the talent and creativity!

As a Convergence Dev, I must say. It isn’t awful. But GoE focuses more on spectacle than actually fighting the boss
@@Detriax Ay, thank you, Canada! It's a bit frustrating when you make a teleportimg system that takes a few days to get right while accounting for everything in the AI and then someone says i should've just retargeted a few anims for the boss instead in like an hour and that would've been better. But I understand that non-modder perspective on these things tends to be different so I try to take in all feedback. Although retargeting onto Orphan would've looked strange no matter what so there wasn't much flexibility there.
Do you think this boss is more spectacle-focused than gameplay-focused? I thought I took many considerations to make sure he's not that oppressive but if you have anything in mind I can always just make edits to him. I do think the meteors look scary 😂 but you do have to keep in mind they're kind of just delayed grab damage so I went a bit nutty with them.
@@mihairus6353 You have gotten much better! The first few bosses you made were much more spectacle based, I think. But with these last few ones, I can see a much more noticeable focus on the gameplay as well.

To consider that the Orphan of Kos was simply an avatar of the Hunter's Nightmare, what if Astel was its true form? As the Great Ones only show an avatar of themselves than their true forms.

@@Detriax Do these complications come from the fact it would be a port from a console version of the game to pc or would still be as hard even if the game had an official pc release?
@@guerindacio4584 It would be hard for both, because you need to make entirely new VFX, you need to recreate their AI, you need to do all sorts of things that people seem to think just happen

@@zach_zach5453it isn’t garbage. It is unfortunate that it is locked behind a paywall, and could very well put the modding scene in danger, but the mod itself is higher quality than most. Not as high quality as our own Convergence Mod, but certainly not garbage

I dont care with anyone says large companies have NO excuse in terms of adding new costumes,movesets, whatever into games. Literally modders and programmers find ways to carry assets over and even combine them and have them be able to run with the games code without crashing . So what's the problem ?

@@YouSoSpiceand time, many games try to bring up new stuff, either references or concepts made from 0, which tend to requiere extremely detailed models. Modders only modify already existing models and concepts, which take less time

Pretty poor take lmao. Look at the replies and you’ll see why. It’s not as simple as you think. Reusing models is a lot different from creating new models from scratch.
Modders are amazing, but at the same time, I would be upset if large companies simply shill content out for the sake of it by reskinning existing assets since it would be behind a paywall too.

Modders are making AAA companies look terrible right now because they're so goddamn lazy games don't even release fully finished. Now we're accepting finished games via updates. The least they can do is swap around some stuff to make the game cooler. Fan service is how you make money.
