Thanks a lot for this instructional video, it made replacing rear shock absorbes and coil springs in my car much easier! :)
Remark - according to Citroen instruction of tightening torques, rear shock absorber bottom mount screw should be tightened to 190Nm.
Thank you very much for your comment, Dominik. Very glad you found our video useful! See you in Garage Gurus channel! Have a great day.
Correct: Bottom screw 190Nm. Top screw 120Nm. The other 4 screw 45Nm. These are from Citroen Workshop manual!
@@viktorszabo7931 The manual I had stated 30Nm for top bracket screws, but I found it relatively too small, so after reaching this value I tightened these screws further - about 1/4 turn, judging proper torque by feel/experience 😉
Thanks you Guys, very much appreciated. Thanks for providing the angle of the damper when tightening the top screw, Wish I hast watched the video earlier. Would have saved me a damper 😇 Cheers!

Very helpful, thanks
Very glad it was helpful, Alan! Thank you for your comment. Have a great day!
Good tutorial on one side but you have the exhaust pipe in the way on the other side. As you should replace shock absorbers in pairs a full how-to of both side would be useful
Hello subscriber! Thank you for your valuable feedback. We will consider it for future videos where similar situations occur. The idea of shooting only one side is to explain the process that is mainly the same for both sides, making the video shorter and easier to be watched. Once more, thank you for your feedback, and if you have any other comment or suggestions don´t hesitate to come back to us.
Have a nice day!
You can do it on the right side without disassembly of exhaust and its cover - the latter is made from kind of soft-ish material and can be bent a little - enough to get to the top bracket screws by using long enough wrench socket extender.
Is there no way of doing this without removing the springs?
