Calin: Loved it! You are a most charismatic vlogger. Your running commentary was most amusing, and your accent is very charming and exotic to the meh I hear, here in the USA. At the end, I thought you were filming The Birds 3. Happy times for you and family Romanian! Keep up the excellent work!!!
hey man thank you so much for making this channel i need so much info i just watch one of your videos about properties for under 25k i loved it i have some many questions tho
Congratulations on the great house and the new vlog. I already subscribe to a "retire in Mexico" vlog and another vlog about self-sufficient living in Portugal. This Romanian village vlog will be a great addition. The house and the garden look fantastic. You have all the necessary modern features of a city dwelling but the peace and quiet and healthy air of a traditional Romanian rural town. The grape vines should make some delicious wine. I wish you and your family many happy decades there. Oh, I think I got lucky and found your house with Google Street View. Not too far from you towards the main road, there appears to a beekeeper. I bet you can get some delicious fresh honey there! Your neighbor directly on the street corner looks like he has made some progress on his roof since the Google Street View panorama photo was taken. AND most importantly the road you are on has been paved!
Great detective skills! :) I wasn't able to find the beekeeper on the map, but the former owner told us that there's indeed one nearby. However, the road was paved when the Street View was done as well - the house has a "de vanzare" (for sale) sign on the fence. Either way, we are indeed happy with how things turned out.
I watch your video here in the Philippines 🇵🇭 Romania 🇷🇴 and almost same souroundings, people and attitudes because our countru is colonized of spain on 1521
Romanian is a Latin language, so if you're not finding it difficult with Italian or Spanish, you won't find it really difficult here either. But even if you do, most Romanians speak at least some English, so you shouldn't have a problem getting around and having conversations.
Perhaps I could ask a question-- I've been trying to get information about this, but no one has answered me yet after several months... My family (grandparents, great-grandparents) left Oradea to go live in Philadelphia, PA. Most of the "advertising" I am seeing concentrates on Bucharesti, Brasov, or Timisoara-- but I am trying to find information about living in Romania that focusses on Oradea. I don't suppose you could point me in the right direction? I am trying to plan for my retirement in another ten or twenty years, and I would like to do so in Romania (on encouragement from a Russian, and a Serbian friend. Any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

hey brother subbed , been watching and loving all your videos, My gf if romanian and considering moving over there , whats the best website to look for a place and do you have recommendations for good villages or ones near you that you enjoy that I can search for
You should visit Olx.ro - that's where most of the ads are. Unfortuantely, I have minimal knowledge in regards to villages, but most people actually prefer those in Transylvania simply because the area itself is more popular. Being relatively close to a city (even a smaller one) is a huge advantage and a must in my opinion, so that you're close to a supermarket and maybe some entertainment.
