  • In this video I forge hardware for another post vise that utilizes old square headed bolts that keeps the authenticity and look of the time period without the extra effort and work of hand forging all of the individual pieces. I also share a little trick for straightening a bent leg.

I liked the split screen. Very nice new mount for a man with many vises. John is a great Blacksmith I watch all of his vids. Thank you Jayce for sharing. Merry Christmas.

Thanks Randy! This vise is going to head down the road to someone who really needs it. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well.

Great job. If the guy I'm buying a leg vise from this weekend comes through with his out of town delivery I'll be doing these same parts by Monday. The video should certainly help with the process, thanks.

I like the two camera, split screen. I watch videos on a tablet so it might not work as well on a phone. C

That's always the struggle more than anything, just finding the time to work on them. If it wasn't for making youtube videos this one would probably still be laying in the pile...but I do enjoy getting them back to work!

I cringe every time i see a hot cut left in the anvil, while hammering. ( i understand you are a pro at this) otherwise a great video, keep up the great content.

I was going back and forth more than the video showed which is why I left it in there, but you are right, it is not the best practice to do so. Thank you for watching!

@@FarmsteadForge You are a professional farrier and blacksmith, we all do these things sometimes, i'm guilty myself of it at times. I'm also quick to growl at my students for such things as well. You have a great channel and i think your tong videos are great, i have learnt so much from them, thank you for your time and effort.

Interesting how your AI interperets ringing hammers and squealing drill bits as music.
