I have had 8 inflatable implants both coloplast and AMS they have all failed for various reasons I have had full surgeries to completely remove each one of them over a 20 year period. I am currently using a AMS that has been in for 4 years with no problems. If I was going to do it again I would seriously consider the new Tractra Sami ridged implant . The pump and the tubing seem to be the problem with the inflatables.

I've been through. I decided to use coloplast 3 pieces. Regret it to this day. The pump failed several times. Had revision surgery and the second one failed after 6 week. Had 2nd revision put in another one and it failed due to leaks In pump area. After the leak I had the 3rd revision. I was sent to specialist. MRI verified the the unit was empty again. My specialist said he preferred the AMS 700. So the third revision surgery we took out Coloplast out and replaced it with the AMS 700. This one has been a much better device than the Coloplast. After 5 months I haven't had a problem with it. That is After cycling the devicea minimum once a day with no issues. Two Coloplast didn't last this long and in a couple of months the AMS 700 will pass the 3rd one.
That's strange🤔 My research suggest that the COLOPLAST is the best of the two. Humm..... I'm having this done, in a couple of months. I'll see what my surgeon/urologist suggest. I've got one of the best, here in Phoenix.

IF ... the impant ever fails or needs to be removed, these will N0T heal back to normal; you would NEVER be able to achieve a natural errection ever again. I'm so frustrated at is point that I do want to try something........I have a high PSA count in which the VA is monitoring, and I constantly am getting a half-hard erection.
