- Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions.
When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.
This series will feature a set of rare songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.
The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focussed on old songs. The sessions are unplugged and performed with minimum instrumentation. No retakes. One stretch live performance..

பாரதி ,கண்ண தாசன் போன்ற கவிகளை யும் இசையயும் இரசிக்க தவமிருந்து தமிழ் தேசத்தில் பிறந்து உள்ளோம். அந்த கடவுளுக்கும், இந்த மாதிரி பாடல்களை வழங்கும் தங்கள் குழுவுக்கும் மிக்க நன்றி.
மஹாகவி தன் வாழ்நாளில் நல்ல வசதியுடன் வாழவில்லை என்றாலும் எத்தனை கோடி இன்பம் வைத்தாய் என்று பாடியவர். அவர் மனதில் காதலும் எவ்வளவு ஊற்றெடுத்தது என்பதற்கு பல பாடல்கள் இருந்தாலும் காற்று வெளியிடை மிகவும் பிரமிப்பூட்டும் எனக்கு. ஒரு காதல் பாட்டு நம்மை அழவைக்கும் என்றால் இதுதான். சிலிர்க்க வைக்கும் இந்தப் பாடலை உன்னிகிருஷ்ணன் குடும்பத்தினர் மூலம் கொடுத்து என்னை மிகவும் நெகிழ வைத்ததற்கு எவ்வளவு நன்றி சொன்னாலும் போதாது. I know this two children from birth this first time I am hearing the melodious voice of Krishna, Unni blessed with two beautiful voice for next generation.
I can't figure how kids can sing sooo beautifully, and be so expressive of feelings generally thought to be of much older people!
They just mimic the original singers. Like memorizing for an exam.

Wow! What a soulful performance by Unni Krishnan fmly. Superb singing by Uthara and krishna. Uthara's voice is sweet like honey. Her singing really brings goosebumps in us. Her humming was extraordinary. Krishna was at his best. I have a sweet memory abt this song. I got 3 rd prize for this song in Bharathiar competition in my school. All participants sang this song in cinema tune. I sang it in different tune taught by my music teacher and for that very reason I got 3 rd prize. Kannamma.....mm kannamma......mm was really superb. Enjoyed thoroughly the treat by Unnikrishnan, Uthara and krishna. May God bless that Musical family with all prosperities.

The popularity of this song is so very high that it does not qualify for this program of rare songs nit much known or handled. BUT WE ARE NOT COMPLAINING. A beautiful song rendered amazingly by these two children.
