I think the gap fillers for roadbuster are the only things I'm disappointed in since as you mentioned they need to be removed to transform him. I also would like it if the chain for the dog was a lot shorter. Heck, it would have been cool if they had replaced the dog altogether with the same one but with some articulation.
Hey primevsprime, the arm fillers for roadbuster have a little handle on them to where you can pull them out. Don't know if this helps, but I thought I should let you know.

For TopSpin's lack of arms fillers I think it's because you're supposed to untransform the hand to only give him his claws just like in the movie

I just superglued the machine guns to the windows. I like how they look in vehicle mode more than I do in robot mode.
