It still boggles my mind that my brain managed to heal after being terribly injured when the hydrolic arm holding up the hatchback of my car suddenly broke and the heavy metal door came down on my poor head and cracked it open. My brain was badly bruised for over 14 months, and my depth perception was seriously affected for many weeks after the accident. Boy, did my poor head ever hurt back in 1985! It was all so very scary. But I'm here, in one piece, and feeling extremely lucky.

With time. As my bruised brain healed, the situation became less problematic. Slowly, I was able to walk without having my arms extended, and started losing the fear of walking into things, not because I couldn't see them, but because I couldn't discern the distance between me and walks or whatever. It helped a lot that I was living in a very familiar environment; otherwise, I am sure that I would have received a few bruises -- or worse. Visits to a neurologist and brain scans became a part of my life for a good while. Needless to say, it was extremely important to make sure that blood clots weren't forming in my very sore brain. During this period, I became well acquainted with a nasty headache --- something I hadn't had before or since. Fortunately, time and caution took care of things. But I would be lying if I said that I wasn't terrified of what happened, and of the consequences I might still encounter. I was lucky, very lucky indeed.

Thank you, CatCat. As I explained above, I was extremely fortunate to have come out of it without permanent damage. My guardian angel worked overtime for a very long time, that's for sure.

Please continue with these. My boyfriend finds it hard to resonate with a lot of meditations with a brain injury and this has helped

This was done well. One suggestion that I feel is needed, is at the end, guiding people back out of the deep relaxation, still feeling relaxed, yet being awake and ready for the day.

It was nice to feel calm again. I was in a plane crash last year and experienced a brain bleed and a TBI. I am extremely lucky to be alive. I still want to continue to grow. I am looking forward to the series. Thank you!

Have been listening to your expertise and clearly understanding videos of my brain. I started last night on PREPARING TO HEAL and want to continue every night w them. I recently had an MRI done on my brain and am waiting for confirmation and explanation on results from my neurologist. Thank you for your time spent and sharing your knowledge with us as we try to understand ourselves.

If you pay Google UA-cam $1.99 a month you will get vids with no ads. You can also hit your phone button and listen without having the screen lit up. Saves your battery and gives you dark that is better for your meditation time..

You are doing something GREAT! I have listened to hundreds of UA-cam meditations over the past three years when I was healing from surgeries. When I got the concussion, I tried to listen to the go to meditations and all I felt was agitation and restlessness. You are the first time that I have fallen soundly asleep in months! BTW if you can control the ada that play mid-video that would be great ❤

Ty so much I have long Covid that gave me a mild TBI nervous system damage heart damage and lung damage copd stage 3. January 10th of last year is when I got Covid in February had mri read good but I didn’t pass small test in office for dementia. Passed long test with executive function problems but dr felt was my copd ptsd and Covid working against me. Since then I kept getting sick and Insurance kicked me out of balance therapy for not improving. I’ve had bronchitis rsv flu copd exasperation twice and a couple of days ago had to go to hospital because my lung dr thought I had a stroke. So did hospital new mri has white matter Hyperintensity. Researching is how I came across you and have been watching ur videos. Im not gonna lie im scared and just watched my mom died of a stroke and 31/2 months of dementia she died January 6th 2020. Cerebrovascular disease is what was on her death certificate and hospital wouldn’t tell me much just small vessel disease is what I believe he said. The internet said white matter disease same thing but had every symptom and they eased up and bad head ache now. I was taking Benadryl but then noticed my symptoms were getting worse so I quit taking it. And now just bad headache but can’t get out of bed and I’ve been till this video I felt terrible. This video has made me the most relaxed I’ve felt for a long time. The er dr believes the Covid has come back on me but doesn’t really know because they don’t actually know what it’s doing to people. The Nuro psych dr did say he didn’t know if it could come back on me when I got the results of my test too. I actually believe it has because last month started feeling bad with my brain like in the beginning of long Covid and told my husband I think the drs are wrong I think im getting dementia. That’s how I felt in the beginning of this long Covid too. Thought maybe it would go away again til mri and now im one of the people that’s scared of dementia but maybe just maybe I pray if it is I can become like the two people u talked about that is actually ok with it! The ones that’s just happy to be with their family. That was in another video u did. I only thought that way probably because of this video so again I say thank you! God Bless you ❤

Just starting our path towards healing. The power of the mind is an amazing thing.. A good friend is still in the hospital after a car accident. It looks promising, but I was looking for exactly this to help with his recovery. He was in a drug induced Comma and unconscious for close to 14 days. This happened last month around the 12th.. The hospital is just starting with his aggressive physical therapy and assessment of the injury. As I have learned in this short time. Every TBI is unique and just like a fingerprint, no two are ever alike..
