Hamilton Frogman REDUCED to 41mm ... The BEST $1000 (ish) dive watch?

- I loved the Hamilton Frogman from afar for many years, the issue was always the same... great design but why is it 46mm. It will be like a clock not a watch on my wrist. Recently they dropped a 41mm version and I have barely seen anyone talking about it, this has to change!

You're right. Not many people are talking about the 41mm Frogman. Thanks for being one of the few and giving it a through review. 👍 Have you checked out the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf 53 Skin diver? Might be worth a look.
My pleasure - its weird especially considering Hamilton does get a lot of coverage as a brand. I haven't had the skin diver in hand, I did own a regular Sea Wolf in two tone a couple of years back and really enjoyed it. I assume the skin diver might be slimmer though? I'll have to try grab one at some point. The spring loaded butterfly clasp was one of my favorite features I've seen in a watch to this day 🙂👍 cheers for the comments 🍻
Thanks for your review in KOREA🤝
Thank you for watching 🙂🙌
Thank you for your presentation. Very easy to listen to and watch. I think the Glycine Combat Sub with an ETA 2824 movement would give this watch a run for the money and they can be regularly had for US$330. Many variations such as GL0171, GL0077, etc.
At some point I'd definitely like to get round to trying one. On paper they are spec monsters, I'd be interested to see how the fit and finish compares against larger Swiss brands at much higher price points, like this Hamilton 🙂👍 cheers for the comments!
Looks amazing! Basic and not so fancy but real superb
It's so underrated, yes not wildly exciting but so hard to beat as an all-rounder at the price, it's a cracker. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂👍
Would be interested to see a side by side comparison with the larger 46mm version
I've seen the 46mm once I think in a shop, but neither versions seem to be particularly popular. If I get a chance to film a 46mm without buying it I'll try to make it happen 👍
@@nextonthewrist thanks for reply 👍
Looks great!
It’s a handsome watch, but I think that crown guard would be an issue for me. Keep up the good work.
It's a looker... but being left handed very hard to judge the impact of the crown guard on the majority 😅 so it could be a major issue for most I'm not entirely sure... cheers for the comments as always 🙂🍻
@@nextonthewrist I think there are a few offerings from Squale that are sub $1000 US in the 38 to 42 mm size range that would compare. I know some of them have a 4 o clock crown (which I am fond of).
That crown guard kills it for me. Nice watch though
I don't think you'll be alone with that either 😅
