I was planning on buying a Bergara B-14 HMR in 6.5 Creedmoor or .300 Win Mag until I read where those barrels had a life of (roughly) 3000-4000 rounds before having to sending the barrel in for rebarreling. So I decided to buy the same rifle in .308 Winchester, where the barrel life is between 10000-12000 rounds before a rebarreling needs to be done. Anyway, just my 2 cents worth.
What’s up with the stocks? What are they made from? Do they have an aluminum bedding block, or are they aluminum pillars, or none of the above? Fibreglass, or polymer?
I have the original HMR, it’s made with heavy polymer material with an internal bedding frame. Sling and flush cups are also attached to this frame, very solid and rigid. The bottom metal and mag release are also metal. You won’t need to upgrade anything on this stock unless you want a barricade stop for a PRS match.
lkazanov I contacted Bergara, and they said I could go ahead and use a Accuracy International for the Remington 700 Long Action. Sounds like it’s a blueprinted 700 for the B-14 Hunter. Using Leopold Remington 700 scopes and bases.
Some say the definition of intelligence are the capability to learn form other peoples mistakes? That thing are useless for real hunting. I have had this idiots around in Africa without safety on the mauser, They all have one thing common, they are all talking head without hunting experience.

If you can afford to shoot 3000-4000 rounds of win mag, you can afford to rebarrel a rifle
@@OreGear If you'd read the entire post that's why I said I had settled on the same Bergara rifle in .308 Winchester.
Coolness... I just bought the B14 Hunter in 308.
I saw that. I’m very jealous! They are amazing rifles!
How has it been?
Riflechair is it accurate
How are you liking your b14 hunter ??
@@xsoulkidd909 Accurate rifle indeed but a PITA to load the internal box magazine and the bolt knob keeps coming loose. I sold this rifle.

Are these Rem 700 footprint actions for different chassis? Triggers Rem 700 compatible?

Or some people are capable of minding their bold handle with the safety on.
