New start from BIGBANG. They are true musicians, not just idols..
It's hard to explain to those who haven't been along for the ride how heavy, yet cathartic this moment is for long-term VIPs. Not having them end together was a clear message about where they currently are in life. There is enough symbolism in this video to write an essay.
YG comfirmed that Bigbang "Stiĺl Life" is about a new beginning song, not a goobye song..

YG could’ve just denied with a short statement but they just had to explain the lyrics and MV concept because all the people who watched thinks it's a disbandment song and other investors started selling their stocks

The excitement of Bigbang's comeback is also filled with lots of sadness for many fans, they did this comeback as a promise n a closure to fans after 4 yrs disappearance. hence it is also a comeback with just 1 song n its a ballet song that has strong meanings in lyrics, even the scenes there's many hidden meanings including the 4 chairs with 1 director chair fm GDragon's solo World Tour prior the long hiatus, n the final logo of 5 horizontal lines, the VIPs will understand. This song signifies Goodbye that all VIPs worldwide r heartbroken, they r highly loved, gaining new fans even during their long hiatus. Their highly anticipated Comeback (with no promotion) has received a million pre-orders alone fm China within few hrs. When YG Entertainment announced their comeback, YG share price shot up again. On their song released day it hit top iTunes charts in 33 regions, n top Korea, Japan, China music platforms. Bigbang also top the hottest search keyword in Twitter worldwide n China Weibo, etc. They r the Kings n Legends, they r the Idol of many Kpop idols n celebrities, n r highly in demand but sadly they hv no wish to continue. I really miss them so much especially Bigbang's leader GDragon, my super bias, who is producer, composer, songwriter for Bigbang. They r filled with multi-talents, creativity, swag, best live performance kpop group known, their cool. savage, honest n fun characteristics n brotherhood. I'm grieving with sadness for their departure back to hiatus though not disbandment, I feel that to the great leader King GD, Bigbang is always 5. In the mv, apart fm showing 4 chairs + 1 GD's director chair n the ending same Bigbang's MADE logo of 5 horizontal lines, some fans said that GD's umbrella (black on top n colorful inside) represents Seungri as GD has painted an abstract painting for Seungri in front of him whereby he painted it with all different colours n then on top of it covered with black color, when Seungri asked what it means GD explained to Seungri that he is the colors behind the black n ask him to look into his hearts (GD is such a deep n artistic person). Also some fans said they recognised Seungri's voice as backup singing at 1:10 of the song after TOP's rapping which makes them feel complete. So this song signifies Goodbye which TOP has hinted Bigbang will go back to hiatus. YG will try its best to prevent disbandment as Bigbang, the Kings & Legends, is too powerful. YG has said formerly that Bigbang made YG not the other way round, even to date Bigbang pretty much runs YG not the other way round, once Bigbang renew contract YG share price shot up, once they did a Comeback YG share price shot up, now investors speculate Bigbang's "Still Life" may signifies disbandment, YG share price drops n YG has to quickly clarifies Bigbang is still around. I hope to see their reunion for another comeback in future, hopefully a "real" one with all 5 which they will do concerts with their powerful live performances n music variety shows that make u laugh so hard, I miss their fun synergy, 🥺❤👑 🌸🙏
I only listened to this song yesterday and it made me cry so much that wen it got to TOPs bit I had to turn it off as I just couldn't listen to it fully.
It's not that I dislike it its opposite I love it its just that it made me feel sad and made me cry I just didn't realise how much I miss this group until this comeback.
I love them so much as artists and people.

Daesung has actually been the most active of the group for a while. He has a popular UA-cam channel under the name D'splay. He's been working on his drumming a lot.
I just found his channel the other day. I love that he's been doing breakdown and speculation videos and stuff from the POV of a fan and the inside joke that he is Daesang himself.

Gdragon is really good in everything he does i love his kindness that he let other member shines and not only him it amaze us that all his nember he considered and love them as family and thats amazing its only show how good leader he was

This song made me so sad, though I'm so happy to see them at it again. I know it's not supposed to be a send-off, but dang it felt like it. TOP had me misty, especially that "For Life" part. So emotional
Each one is in a different station. Taeyang spring, Daesung Fall, Gdragon summer and Top winter, he is leaving but as the song says winter goes and comes...

If you like this version of bigbang like slow and stuff, I recommend blue, if you, let's not fall in love, love song, and last dance :)) and from teayang you can check darling, don't wake me up and gdragon's Untitled 2014. I feel like i can put them in the same category.
Well for this song I still don't know how to feel, i feel sad and happy again cause beside them, alot of things changed since their last comeback for me and them and us together. So I really have mixed feelings.
I don't feel that this is like a goodbye song but a song for acceptance that now we are four and we came a long shot to here together.

Each of them represented the four seasons.. spring summer fall and winter that's why they can't be together in one scene.
This is quite sad that BIGBANG been the Kpop Kings ended in such a sad note just like how 2NE1 was force to disband both groups gave not only YG Ent but their country so much and neither group will ever get surpassed both groups will forever be #1 no matter and for both groups to have such a sad ending is devastating. I know people say that BIGBANG wont disband but they are most likely are because Seungri messed up big time and he left the industry and let's face it without him BIGBANG wasnt the same we can all feel the deep hole he left because he complemented and added to the group and without him BIGBANG is missing something. The same thing can be said again now that even T.O.P decided to leave the group which BIGBANG had a huge hit with Seungri leaving and the wrong things he did sadly did stained BIGBANG's good image forever and now with T.O.P who had an unfortunate scandal before Seungri and had to retire for a while and came back just to leave the group for good... this is yet another huge hit for BIGBANG and I really doubt BIGBANG will be able to survive this 2 fatal hits and most likely disband specially now that GDRAGON left YG ENT and after his image was ruined fortunately he was cleared from everything but his image was still stained and BIGBANG's image was under fire yet again for the 3rd time I really doubt BIGBANG will stay active its sad but something that will most likely happen.
FYI : u can kinda hear Seungri's voice in the background when T.O.P was singing that is even sadder to me .... I will always love BIGBANG even tho they are no longer a group.

This is not comeback. It's a promise to give a proper farewell/closure. You can see they were never filmed together, but separately. Each of them was in a different season and like the 4 seasons, they never come together.

It's possible they filmed this before the announcement, but people in comments on videos spreading false information have no excuse.
I think this is the start of their new journey. chairs are empty and when they are full again that’ll be the real end.
There were a lot of meanings that Bigbang is still 5 despite everything that happened, there were 4 chairs in one scene + 1 one chair in GD's Scene, the fact that Daesung was sitting on a 3rd chair means a lot as well, because real maknae is Seungri so the last chair was left for him, there was one scene with 4 flowers as well and GD was holding a flower in his hand at one point as well, so that points to 5, they used MADE logo with 5 lines at the end of the video and each line represents each member
oh I've got the chairs. the logo 5 lines but I didn't catch the part that Daesung is sitting on the 3rd chair, I feel even more touched when u point this out. Hopefully this is not their last comeback as big bang “the king of kpop” legends. But since TOP wants to leave YG entertainment and 1 of the other member is serving time in prison, it will be really hard for several future comebacks; could possibly be their last.
YG has confirmed its not the end of Big Bang and that it's a new start for them. TOP said when he left YG that he didn't leave Big Bang and will participate when he can. As for Seungri, they're moving on without him. I do believe that's part of what this song is about. It's overall a goodbye to how Big Bang used to be. But there's many layers.
@@MadCheshireHat Everyone see this differently. I don't trust YG so I interpret this as a wish from the boys. The English translation from YG on the video aren't as accurate as you think it is that's why you would think of it as them moving on. There's also a hidden message in it which nobody takes about as far as I see(blogs, reactions and etc). I am just glad I saw it and understood it
