I know we have emailed each other and I know you are busy but I’m still wanting you to get my 911 going. Everything is ready to transport to you, motor is built, car is beautifully prepared. I have a lot of track days coming up this year and I am willing to pay you a lot to just do the swap and tuning.

Hope you can show us start to finish how to get a K swap into one of these Porsches, to give anyone confidence on how to do it from your garage.
I think the plumbing and wiring would be the most challenging, the mechanical part would be the easiest for me.
This is a project I would love to do someday, if I can find a cheap 997 manual too with a blown engine. 😊

Favorite car with my favorite engine
K sounds really nice in there. Good video showing the ease of lowering, being new to porsche it takes a bit to wrap your brain around engine removal or lowering but I think with quick disconnect coolant fittings, etc it might be cool to make the engine so modular it only takes a 1-2 hours to have it on the ground, imagine working on it then, super cool! I am interested in a V8 swap but I keep checking on this one! The cayman with K and honda trans is SICK! That will be the max fun car for sure!

really is so well thought out ,,, very neat and tidy.
Might be an outlier but I think the turbo honda noise fits the car better. Esp since the exhaust is short and it doesn't really sound like what it is.

You talk about how your original valve cover all the modifications had to do it to make prevent it from leaking you should test the production model, so you can get some actual results on it as well. That’ll be nice to see a video on that.

One question I have is will the 911 kit fit a K20 as well.

the K20Z1 in my 06 RSX-S has 180k miles and it does burn oil but the car runs absolutely perfect. Common issues that I can look at to fix the oil burning issues?

How much boost are you running on the Silver K24 Porsche?
How different is it to use a k24à motor,as in the uk we can only get the k24a not the k24z motors, i know that the throttle is run on a cable on the a motor

Can you build me a K996/7? There is a YTC that has a K997/6 sawp with an access panel.
Porsche wants you to take stuff off. So for spark plugs you take off the rear bumper cover, some heat shields, the rear wheels, etc. Then you have a straight shot at them. First time I did them on my 996 Turbo it took me maybe 3 hours. Second time took me a little over half that.
How are these swaps going to pass emissions with a Link ECU? What about all the fuel evap, charcoal canister stuff? That has to follow the engine, so be the Honda stuff, not the Porsche stuff. Or are these swaps only for areas that don't do emissions testing or these are track only cars?

Very cool build, but it’s misleading saying it took you 4 hours to do coils on a stock car and 45 minutes on the K swap. I think it’s a fair assumption to say you have thousands more hours of experience working with the K swap in that engine bay than your relative 0 hours of experience when you first did coils.
