I laughed so hard at this video! When you said you could bury someone in the hog feed, it reminded me of what all of us Texans and most southerners in general say. If you ever have an enemy or ex you're tired of, just leave them for the hogs. They'll leave no evidence. Then the chicken feeders being used for "farmhouse" decor was priceless. I cannot stand what is now considered to be a farmhouse. Cast irons skillets, dirty boots, pieces of hay or feathers on the floor where you just pulled off your jacket or cleaned out your pockets and fresh eggs sitting on the counter scream farmhouse to me. That is what our house looks like every single day. I love your videos so much and appreciate how down to earth you both are. May you be blessed on this new adventure as you adjust to your new every day life.
I had no idea how much I looked foward to your videos until they werent there. I knew you're in the middle of the move so Im (along with everyone else) will wait. Super excited to see the new content you crank out.
Hey guys look how green that pasture is! Gunna be very happy turkeys! I love the guard geese! That cracks me up. Congrats on your closing. And bless the old owners for letting you move in a bit early. Can't wait for the next videos. Much love from So.Cal.💟
I've missed you guys! First time sending a message I think 🤔. I feel like an adopted daughter learning from my permaculture-rotational grazing parents. We just bought eight pigs after watching your and Joel's video and then the same day we bought 3 pregnant ewes and 1 ram for our meat sheep, and the week before we bought a pregnant jersey heifer for milk. We are a large family of 11 and I am trying to bring my husband home from his corporate job (even though he works from home). As your ending song says leaning on the Everlasting Arms and we are safe and secure from all alarm. We have to because I am putting my neck out there or should I say God's resources and trusting he will sell and provide for our investment. Thank-you so much for all you do!
Glad you guys are back. Nice turkeys coming on. Would like to see where all you hogs are now, and have any of them farrowed yet. Blessings on you guys. Such a beautiful place🙂
Welcome back. Best wishes for the new place. You will not regret getting this guard geese. Mine guard about 100 egg layers and I have not loose one to aerial predators.
Congratulations on your property closing on tomorrow. All the best! Your farm looks amazing and will be even better with your animals start working the land.
Never thought i would be so happy to hear that starting music. Glad to see u guys are doing well. Sometimes nothing is more exiting then change, and this change seems all the better with each look. Besides everyone loves a long drive way. Interested to see what u guys do cattle wise.
Missed you guys so much! Had my first two guilts to farrow while you were gone. They each had ten and only one runt. Sad to say the runt didn’t make it but all others are doing well!!
Hey y'all good to see you guys, I understand it takes time and it is a challenge to move a farm, looks like y'all are getting close to the end though. Look forward to y'all getting back to putting out videos I really enjoy your content, it helps me own my on farm! Will continue to pray for y'all and look forward to seeing y'all soon. God Bless
Great video. We just processed our pastured raised turkeys. We had the Gallagher 164 poultry fence with the S10. After they turkeys got certain size we noticed that turkeys wouldn't be phased by the netting. Have the S40 kept your full grown turkeys off the fence?
Welcome to the neighborhood. I'm in the same county your in. I have a few chickens free ranging and I also have a guard goose. I do think hes been a big help even though as you say they sure are noisy. Even had a skunk get in my pen one night and kill a mother hen and one baby but that morning when I found them the skunk was also laying in there dead. Can't say for sure but I do give my goose credit for killing the skunk. Think you'll like have a some guard geese.
@@SheratonParkFarms Just a little west of Wilkesboro. There were some folks visited you Friday about some furniture. I work for them and they told me about your farm and UA-cam channel.
Hello Chuck and Saundra. My husband and i watch from Indiana. We are interested in starting pasture raised pig production. We have had show pigs for 4H for the last 14 years, but want to try our hand at pasture pigs and maybe increase our chicken population. Our land is not the best for growing grass, and have supplemented with hay bales. My biggest question to you is the weather. We are in southern Indiana. We can get pretty low temps here and are curious about keeping the pigs warm and dry from the elements. We welcome any suggestions or advice from you. Thank in advance. God Bless you. Julia
Surely you are open to tell your earnings, that is probably the biggest factor for people who want to to farming but have no clue they can make a living out of it.
WELCOME BACK; your loyal UA-cam Family has missed the two of you! Tim
We’ve missed y’all too. Thanks for watching
So much to do! Take care of yourself, rest, eat well.
We will. Appreciate y’all watching
Good to see y'all. For the turkey net. All you need to do is weedeat a small strip where the net sits.

Great to see a new video. Happy to see you both are ok. Good luck with both closings. You both are a big inspiration to a lot of people.
Thanks so much. Appreciate the kind words.
When I put up netting I bring a push mower and mow on swipe once the netting is up and I move the netting into the swipe easy and helps fence stay hot
I think I’m the first new neighbor! On to the video!

Greetings from northeast Ohio! Your new place is so beautiful I'd need a periodic swat to return my attention to the chores at hand
It’s a beautiful place to work that’s for sure. Thanks for watching
Looks great Chuck, beautiful Pastures. I'm with you, I love my Kubota 2501 but i had to buy a 2and larger MX6000 to lift a but more.
Yep. Didn’t think I’d like a bigger tractor but it sure is a workhorse.

Sorry about the runts but that happens unfortunately. Congrats in the ones who made it. That’s awesome!!
The Lord does provide! Looking good ya'll. I've been curious about bulk feed bags and mold. Should be OK this time of the year. Beautiful place!
Be interesting to see how this works out. Always bought in bags so it’s a learning experience.

Hi Chuck and Saundra
Welcome back ! I figured you were going nuts moving - hope thing settle down for you. Any new piglets ??

I missed your videos and am happy to hear things are going well. When can we place an order for a Thanksgiving turkey?!
Taking orders now. Send Saundra an email and she’ll give you all the details. Saundra@sheratonparkfarms.com Thanks!
we have two Guard Geese in North East TN - no predator problems.
but wow are they loud and annoying.
What is the name of the band that's playing the music?
What poultry net are you using? My chickens won’t stay in. They walk right threw it. Also do you have a design for your turkey tractor?

Ok. Kim and Pat. Yeah we’ve known them for years.
Do you feed the chickens any feed and what kind
My dad used feeders like that
When are the sows due to farrow??
Great question. I think in about 2 weeks. Starting to show some signs.
Were do you got the hog feed by bulk would love to buy it that way instead of bags
We get it from our feed supplier. Ask your folks if they can package it in totes. Most mills can.
Think you
What do you feed the turkey
