- I am hanging an axe a day for the entire month of October and then we are auctioning them all off here: bid.whiskeyriv...
If you don't want to miss out be sure to hit the bell to turn on notifications for our channel.
Everyday we will post a video of the hang and then that axe will be live for bidding at the Whiskey River Auction House.
This is going to get weird.
Here's the handle I used for this hang: whiskeyrivertr...

Loving this series, have been learning a lot!
A piece of advice with the pull saw. They’re designed to be used with two hands, one hand above the other. The forces from holding the saw on both sides will keep your cut straight. It’s also why the blades are so much shorter than your regular carpenter saw, the range of motion is a lot shorter with the pull saws.
Keep it up. Love the content, warts and all!!
Thank you for the tip! I’ll have to try holding it differently
You know if you cut that stick in half, that you drive the handle back out with, you wouldnt have to get a crate to stand on to hit it harder. Also i think you need a more solid work bench to mount the vice onto. that vice moves a lot and i think absorbs a lot of the impact when the handle is tight. What is that piece of material from that you use in the vice to protect the wood?
Whoa what a sticker..couldn't believe it wouldn't come out with a drift. Must of been a near fishing hook piece of metal in that eye..yikes
The burn coloration make me think the finish some how acted like glue
Again?!! 😂😂
Hahahaha. Yup!!
