Awesome video!!
Offroad is the only place where really old cars can compete with the newest...(if compared with same traction option).
This shows how poor are the technology progresses in this field...one of the only abandoned by firms...as new Defender demonstrates...
A couple of locking differentials (and also central one) may still be much better than a lot of traction control wizards...😄😄😄
I practice Trial from 40 years and my today bike is a monster of climbing performance if compared with 40 years ago bikes, moreover if compared with older ones.
Instead an old LandRover with diff locks can almost go anywhere a more recent Defender can go...

It great seeing what LAND ROVERS are supposed to be doing.
It's a travesty and shame they stopped making a true icon of the four wheel drive world.
Maurice and Spencer Wilks(the original ROVER company) would be turning over in their graves knowing what's happened to LAND ROVER.
I'm the original proud owner of two series Land Rovers.
1957 series 1 diesel 86" wheel base
1965 series 2A diesel 109"wheel base station wagon.
Both are still going strong.

Land Rover una leyenda , una caballo de batalla.
Tuve el gusto de ver a jeep Land Rover batallar en fangos, piedras , ver como eran arrastrados por una yunta de bueyes sobre lodazales, ahí atrancando piedras troncos, un vehículo indestructible.
Hoy los nuevos solo mal llevan el nombre de Land Rover
