I was at Wee Jasper, NSW, one December a few years ago. Despite my orange lights, a Christmas Beetle buried itself in my left ear. Had to drive to Yass District Hospital late at night. to get it removed - not pleasant. So now I wear ear plugs out bush and employ headphones to binge on YT at night!

Mate fully fledged member of the penetrated by moth club! About 9pm at the Pennefather about 2 years ago! Wife couldn’t see it and mates only plan was to shoot it so off to Weipa hospital! 3 hours of the thing wriggling around there! I grew up in Weipa so nurse asked for last time I visited the hospital which was my last weekend in town in Sept 1984 knocked out playing footy! She didn’t bother looking for paperwork! A squeamish nurse eventually extracted it but said don’t worry about the hairs off the legs left in the ear they’ll be right! Maybe have a bath every day for the next few days! Mate still a bit shirty we wouldn’t let him shoot it! Still have it in a specimen jar the nurse gave me! We love your stuff and the way you guys go about it! Your boys will love you for it!

Well guys another great Friday nights entertainment with Ollie taking up the Fin position chewing the dirt and the over active Elenya, we were sure she had been on the red cordial, we don't know where you get the energy girl. Glad to see you have discovered Mrs Balls Chutney, we also discovered it when in the west many years ago and used to order it online as in those days it wasn't available in the east, the hot one is the best. 🥵❤❤

Hi guys ,Nick you might try to Velcro. another filter over the ceiling filter outlet inside the camper while you’re under way , then you can take in down when your camped .That red dust looks like it might even be finer than Fesh Fesh you find out in some desert places here in the US .

I’m a member of the moth in the ear club. Changed a flood light one night and had the same horrible experience of it going in the ear, ended up at hospital to flush it out,yuk!

We have the same DRS in our van for two years and it works to treat through bulldust all sorts of dust we found when we first picked up the van two years ago they had the wiring back the front it was sucking incorrectly it was a quick fix I just changing the wires over doing the vent inside the van and wiring correctly

Oh gee guy's lm feeling for both of you in that red bull dust or whatever and having to clean the kids off is yukky....but the van did awesome with passing the dust inspection.......and those rocks your poor tyres lucky you didn't get a punture or worse.

My other half and three of his mates are currently heading to the Helena Ranges, stopped tonight at Baladjie Rock, so the intel from this video was great. Love little Ollie he's really developing his very own personality and fast becoming a big fella and I have to say the flies are just 100 steps past crazy and now I know why I always prefer going to the goldfields later in the year

You guys are as funny AF. Talking about losing the truck...I'm REALLY surprised that they let you onto mining land without a yellow flashing light!!!!!!! You really should get one for the back of the caravan and be able to switch it on and off from the cab! PLEASE get one when you're next in town. It makes seeing cars and vans on mining roads SO much easier! In the interim, please use your hazard lights in the full on red dust so that people don't drive up too close to your rig and give you some space. Love you work as always guys! 😘
How did I know that was going to happen?!! LOL. OH AND two of your tyre arrows and NOT lining up so PLEASE check that your wheel nuts are tight on the truck wheels!!! May I give you my own Sezhuan sauce recipe? Two tablespoons of Oyster sauce, two teaspoons of Tamarind S., one teaspoon of Chilly Jam, two teaspoons of ginger, one teaspoon of garlic, one teaspoon of cajun spice, two squirts of fish sauce, one squirt of lemon or squeeze a half lemon, Mixed herbs to taste, ground pepper to taste. That should do it. salt to taste, but I don't add any as there is salt in the cajun spice. Enjoy. Add more cajun for extra flavour and spice.

Its a wonder the moth went for Nicks ear cause there’s no real light on in there, ha ha only kidding big fella, I seen somewhere to flood that ear canal with olive oil, it usually makes the intruder back out or they die and can do no more damage till you can get help. Awesome seeing the boys filthy just like god intended and I might try that chicken dish tonight 👍
