I know that first 30 mins where he complained the game is nothing for the first 20 mins. I think he looked at the screen and interacted with the game for maybe 8mins of that first 30. I like his actual pre made videos. But imo it comes off as “I don’t care about what I’m doing even though it’s my living and I don’t care if your having a good time. When he literally spends half the time on his phone, playing a different game not on screen, and casually wondering away. His streams aren’t always like that but allot of them are just hard to sit through.

@@ghostmobiil Charlie made it a lot longer than it had to be. He basically sat in the gas station as long as he did by his own volition because he wasn't actually doing the things he needed to progress (Like touching the arcade machine). Notice how after he touches it to "play the game he already has" (which he quickly realizes is actually a different mini-game entirely), after a few levels there's a customer that swings by. Or how he ignores the to do list for the first 15 minutes and complains there's nothing he can do. He needs to hit certain events to activate the next one, it's incredibly basic game design. Then once he does actually get into the house, he once again doesn't stop to think critically whatsoever and spends 5 minutes trapped in the cage instead of looking at the single section that is half torn out and clicking it. Then he spends a good portion of time just trying to clip out of bounds instead of solving any of the puzzles in the house. He also continued to take his attention away from the game to play Runescape, which made him forget and miss a lot of important things.
@@ShaggyDabbyDank I've seen other people stream this game and a lot of them going in blind do some of the same things he does which is wait for an event to happen after tasks are done because there are moments in the first level where there's nothing to do and you just wait until something eventually happens. Idk if Charlie has adhd or w/e to keep himself having to do 2 things at once like play runescape, which idk why everyone is whining about him playing another game on top of this because other streamers will be on social media while playing a game sometimes, but I've seen 39daph play this game, tomato play this game, etc and this game is mighty long especially for a puppet combo game, so speedrunning it in order to see the other levels is probably a necessary evil bc you will die a lot in this game and with ps1 style graphics like this it's a very compressed area, so you wanna see something else. I get that people who love this game want their favorite streamers to also get immersed in this as well, but ya know it's a hit or miss.

And if you're gonna actually commit to the game stop mashing spacebar and left mouse 300000 times and actually take the 5 seconds of effort needed to figure out what to do rather than brute forcing the entire thing lol. Sometimes man, charlie is just really hard to watch. I love his content but when he disconnects from horror games dear god its painful. It's not like the youtuber/streamer that plays dumb, instead its like the impatient annoyed kid doing a chore to go outside because his parents made him kinda vibe.

He Spent more time playing in his lap than playing the game. That bugs me allot like your one job is “play games on stream, and be entertaining for you followers” and I just don’t feel like playing RuneScape off screen, and txting for the majority of it really qualifies. Like at that rate just stream the RuneScape it’s clearly what you’d rather be doing. He likes horror games (from what I’ve heard him say in videos, idk the guy) but not every game is for everyone I suppose. Me personally the way the game looks (same with anime, movies, cartoons, etc) makes the biggest impact so games that make me feel uncomfortable with the way it looks get unfairly disliked sometimes
I think it's puppet combo and that one other dev (stigmatized property dev) especially that he really doesn't even plan on having fun
If it's only good for a section after 40 minutes of tedious monotony, it's probably not a good game overall.

This games not even hard. If Charlie was so stuck he could’ve just used a guide and still beat in 5 minutes. You can just steal the butchers key off the butchers waist while he’s chopping in the Kitchen, unlock the door in the back of the basement, do that incredibly easy fuse puzzle, enter the bunker code, and you’re in the bunker within 5 minutes. Bunker can also be speedran by shooting the locks off the doors in 2B storage room
