I had a chat with him a few years ago in forster square train station. He was very pleasant and had his photo taken with some girls who were in awe of him. He told me he once walked all the way to Sheffield, what a guy. One thing that puzzles me though, I always thought his name was Geoffrey but when I asked him he said his name is John. At least I managed to speak to the legend that is The Bradford Jesus Man.
I got know this guy about 25 years ago...I was in a lodging house my mate ran in Eccleshill and one day he brought him home and let him stay the night...he had his tea with us then had a bath...we had a right good chat with him...he said his name was Geoff...my mate asked him why he dressed like he does and he said he was following in way of Jesus...relying on peoples good nature to get by....I then asked him if he was the second coming...he just smiled.

every night monday to friday during the week from the hours of 6pm-7.30pm at the ground floor reading floor, where the newspapers are kept for the public to read. he can be found in a daze and reading a newspaper or falling asleep, bradford city central library, princes way. come along and see him for yourself.
central library in bradford monday-friday 6pm-7.30pm, nothing spectacular, had to sit next to him and he stank, does jesus's name a dis-service. even saw the monk peeing outside in the public footpath, should be given a ticket and summond to court, but then again, the clergy are not known for having money . . .
