Thanks for the info...been getting into long lining with limited success at LKG in NC...will put these tips to the test this coming week. Thanks again!
Brad, you’ve helped me immensely get setup to longline here in NC this year - thank you. The Bite has been very tough last month or so and wondering if you always fish bladed jigs or something with smaller profile and flash at times. My lakes are predominantly black crappie.
Love your videos. My question is I have just started to try and tie my on jigs. Do I have to paint the jigheads for the Crappie to bite? Thank you so much. Scott
Every time I click 2x on a hoodie or sweatshirt sold out I guess maybe they will throw in free crappie connection ruler for the wait lol seriously you guys are good like the podcast
Thx Brad, good info!! Be safe out there!!
Thanks, you too!

You bet!
@@crappieconnection I pull a lot on Kentucky Lake, hopefully they’ll get the water up , about 5’ below Summer Pool!

Yeah those black crappie can be tricky!! I pull bladed jigs mostly because we have a lot of white crappie but I do catch both on bladed jigs.
Great, Great info Brad!!!
Glad it was helpful!

No sir. Colored heads can make a difference some days and some days unpainted
What size line do you use LL? 6lb mono? Also, do you happen to sell these underspins? I been using Grenada Lake's but would like some pony heads.
6lb

How do you get a crappie off a 20 ft pole?
Not as hard as it sounds. You stop reeling about 20’ out and pull pole behind your head . They just slide in
How come you don't have the tail pointing down?
On the Bobby Garland StrollR there is a flat section that is the top of the jig
Thanks Brad. #25kcrappieconnection
Thank you
