How have the largest creatures ever to roam on land become so successful ? What is their story ? We will try to answer those questions in this unique journey in the past, back to the earliest of the dinosaurs days.
Every footage in this video is original, either filmed in Jurassic World Evolution, or made completely from scratch on Adobe After Effects. Of course, only the OST isn't. I hope you can see the effort put into it, and enjoy the video.

This is absolutely amazing I’m surprised the bbc haven’t copyrighted the video for using the walking with dinosaurs sound track but then again it was made in 1999 so I don’t think there bothered great work as always keep it coming

@@linus9457 Totally agree, but BBC allotted an 80 million USD budget for Walking with Dinosaurs. This guy is giving it a run for its money with his computer and a mic. Budget of maybe $10k? Seriously impressive work! Granted, 20 years makes CGI a lot cheaper
Also the guy you responded to said it was better than 95% of paleo docs and I think most people would agree Walking With Dinosaurs is one of the best paleo docs out there

A movie documentary on the next level.
I was so confused because I know WWD by heart, so when it didn't start with the Cretaceous introduction, then jump to Postosuchus and Ceolophysus, I got very confused. Then when it picked up, I realized you really did make this all from scratch using your own assets and plot lines. This isn't just WWD remade with modern CGI, it's a full-on new special entirely just done the same style.
I'm absolutely flabbergasted. Well done, man. This is incredible!
EDIT: WAIT, IT'S JWE! I feel stupid. I didn't realize until I saw second act. I can't wait for the switch version.
That, and they went to a lot of effort in Walking With Dinosaurs to find real locations that were as true to the time period as possible. (Most particularly, once I watched that series I could never look at dinosaurs walking over grassy fields that same way again...)
I just wanted to point out, I was nine minutes into the documentary, and only then did I realize how much effort it was going to take to orchestrate some of these shots.
That's how captured I was. Great work.

In the very beginning of that episode, we see the corpse of the Ornithocheirus sprawled out on the beach as the narrator tells us how he was the most magnificent beast ever to take to the wing, ruled the skies supreme and flying far and wide over the lands of the dinosaurs.
It is called "Dawn of the Titans," so size is the focus.

It’s hard for me to put into words how well made this is. It’s engagingly narrated, well shot and edited (the shot at 11:21 is just pure art), and you added some cool new touches to really make it your own like the slideshow segments. This is definitely a worthy successor to the original series. I’ve been meaning to sub to this channel for a while now and I’ve finally gotten around to it. I can’t wait to see future episodes of this series from you, man. You’ve got serious talent!

And the obligatory nitpicking: kudos for choosing the recently discovered Buriolestes and Bagualosaurus, but since they're both from the Brazilian Santa Maria Formation, why is the herrerasaurid not Staurikosaurus or Gnathovorax?

If the previous video was a 9 of 10, this is a 12/10. I cannot see any issue at all, apart from those which come with the game, which cannot be fixed. I enjoyed every minute of this documentary, it looks truly realistic.

Yeah, I used to watch Dinosaurs when I was like four or something. I was an adult when they started getting decent enough cgi for documentaries. Decent in terms of it not looking like assets ripped from an N64 game, anyway.

Kenneth Branagh is from Northern Ireland but he speaks with an English accent developed for his acting career.

I’ve seen many reimagines of the walking with dinosaurs saga. This one definitely delivers in the cinematography aspect of that show. Props to the cameraman in getting these shots. And props to the editor in cutting together the best ones. Bravo!

This remake really understands just what made the original Walking With Dinosaurs stand out from all other paleo docs: the framing. Everything from the music, the slow buildup and pacing, the panning shots, the story told through the narration, they all come together to create a sense of awe, wonder, and even fear. The dinosaurs aren't framed as savage movie monsters, but as animals. Real organisms that once walked the earth, concerned above all with survival in a harsh world. If Jurassic Park set the standard for depictions of paleo organisms in Hollywood, then Walking With Dinosaurs set the bar for educational documentaries. Really excited to see what comes next from this project.

The models, movement and interactions are all really well done and I especially like how you made the larger sauropods and dinosaurs look ACTUALLY heavy. Like their muscles, fat, flesh will move/jiggle with each step and you did it!! You didn’t just have giant dinosaurs moving around like they weigh as much as a horse lol
