In this new chapter, we travel back to the early cretaceous, to witness the journey of a juvenile Acrocanthosaurus, fighting to survive, against all the odds, in a hostile environnement, full of deadly, but majestic creatures
This series is of course a Remake of the original one. Every footage in this video is original, either captured in Jurassic World Evolution 2, or made completely from scratch on Adobe After Effects. The soundtrack is original as well, meticulously composed by myself, inspired by the original theme.

Edit : I also did some research and found that T. rex and allosaurus both lived 90 million years ago in Wyoming,USA so that’s something cool(you can check yourself)

This is a great year for dinosaur fans: Prehistoric Planet, Primal Season 2, JWD, Camp Cretaceous season 5, Dead Sound's Dinosauria finale and this second season of Walking With Dinosaurs remake.
Everything besides JWD was great for dinosaur fans this year.

I'm noticing that Season 1 was more of evolutionary line of dinosaurs while Season 2 is more about independent stories of a different era but it's also going further up in time each episode.
I think that makes each season feel different, which is good, but at the same time I hope he returns to making episodes showing evolutionary lines again u.u

OMG this is absolutely amazing, I loved it so that Chapter 2 has become my favourite video in the whole Walking with Dinosaurs series both 1 & 2! The cinematography, the score, the dinosaurs and narration were so top notch! You've nailed it once again Past Eons Productions!! 1000/10
Absolutely amazing video! Acrocanthosaurus is tied for my favorite dinosaur and your portrayal of it as the main character in this story was awesome and very enjoyable! I loved how the incredible difficulty of life as a dinosaur was portrayed with pathologies that we have found on their bones being stated and shown throughout the episode. Excellent work!

I left a comment on a different video like three years ago now, but I just want to say this again; as a child, the Walking with Dinosaurs series is what first got me hooked on Prehistory; along with Monsters and Beasts - it was the first time I actually learned what the term 'Extinction' actually meant. When I was a kid I thought the Dinosaurs just poofed out of existence; but the series showed me what really happened. These were once living and breathing animals fighting to survive - much like the animals of today's world. They didn't just disappear.
Even with their outdated info and reconstructions, the Walking with Dinosaurs, Monsters and Beasts series opened my eyes to a completely new world. One that showed all the creatures who came before us; who once ruled our blue planet. It's always frightened me how easily a dynasty of animals can be snuffed out in the blink of an eye.
The moment I saw the teaser for the first episode in this series, I was hyped. I've been waiting, hoping and praying for a reboot to the walking with dinosaurs series with updated information, and now, thanks to this channel, we have it.
So, to Walking with Dinosaurs, Walking with Monsters, and Walking with Beasts, I want to thank you for exposing me to the world of our most ancient ancestors. Thank you for giving me, and millions of other children the chance to learn about what came before us.

Very good, congratulations. I have only criticism: the dorsal fin of Acrocanthosaurus atokensis was a little bit higher and more pronounced. I didn't really like the new look the new look of Sauropelta edwardsorum with thouser shouder spikes much than the others, i thought it was too asymmetrical, but that's ok, it was his defense.

I stumbled upon this just this afternoon and I’ve been SO hooked 😅
Ok, first time watching, and I am impressed. The music, the feelings, everything brings me back to that first time watching WWD in my second grade classroom. The original was a defining moment in my life: after watching it, I decided that I wanted to become a paleontologist and I am well on my way to doing that! Also, the models were on point; the lack of shrinkwrapping and pronated hands were the best things for me. To see that this was made in a video game engine or Adobe After Effects was amazing too. Small nitpick: the pterosaur was odd; it looked shrinkwwrapped, and lacked the pcynofibres and ankle attached flight membrane that living pterosaurs would have had. Also, thank you for putting feathers on the Deinonychus and not having the Acro roar.
Omg a remake, yes! I loved this as a kid. (To the point of obsession). The dinosaurs look so pretty.
The opening intro felt just like walking with dinosaurs if I didn’t know beforehand I would have believed this was the second season

If that's already the case and this has reached the world via major network exposure, then congratulations. It's well deserved.
#2. Any documentary that chooses to pick an English man or woman to narrate, is a win. As an American, there's something truly calming about an English man or woman or Australian man or woman narrating. Call me silly but that's just how I feel.
I always look forward to these videos as they make me fall in love with dinosaurs all over again and I hope at some point I get the chance to narrate one of the future chapters

I really like how you have acrocanthosaurs in this episode and I like it because it lived alongside more famous dinosaurs like deinonychus but I also like it because it hunted and lived with one of my favorite Sauropod’s the and sauropod is Sauroposeidon which means lizard earthquake god and just saying but I can’t wait to see chapter 3.
Fabulous environments and landscapes and the dinosaur design is pretty great.

Simple Beautiful: I will say that I prefer focusing on more then 1 animal, as this is supposed to be more of a documentary type feel, though the cinematography is absolutely breathtaking, the OST is absolutely wonderful and your story telling always is great.

First time seeing something like this, it's crazy how good a video game can look. A piece of cinematic advice, although many of your shots were very good, during scenes where you travelling years into the future it feels a little jolty. To make the transition between 1 year or even 20 years a little smoother I suggest you add just a little bit of time-lapse video before cutting or fading out. It just adds to the sensation of the passing of time. All in all however, a great video.
