You guys rock I am a 52 year old barber student I needed a career change and I am a people person so I figured why not give it a go and I am loving it. I would love to come hangout at the Ashtray it's a beautiful place, I love the store of Bertus early beginnings and would love to hear more, please share your ups & downs again I am also 32yrs clean & sober which make for interesting talk with customers sometime. Most of the models you have in your videos have great hair. Would you ever do a tutorial using a model with messed up hair? Like bald spots, lumps, strong whorls 🌪, or scars. It would be nice to see a how to overcome an obstacle and still give a good haircut.

Ik ben nu iets meer dan 2 maanden afgestudeerd aan de Barberstation Academy. Dus ik dacht bij mezelf “ik wil zelf wel eens model zijn !2 vliegen in 1 klap.
mee kijken,vragen stellen en ook nog een goed kapsel. Dat was een goede keus! Puur om model te zijn en als een spons alle info en technieken op lurken heeft mij alweer stappen vooruit geholpen.Ook lachen dat ik vragen kreeg waarom ik een barberpaal speltje op mijn gilet had.
Kortom tot de volgende keer (ik wil een lekker gedekte pomp dus ik laat het nog ff groeien.

The line "we can teach you haircut but we can't teach you to be schorem" made me realize that the way you learning barber doesn't matter... The only thing would matter is how you progress and grow and be "schorem" of yourself..

Which Reuzel Pomade would be the best for a greasy slickback ?🤔
The green. It’s in my opinion the best grease pomade out there. If you want a little more hold use the pink instead. I like mixing the two together.

The Old School Academy in Rotterdam is amazing. Their basic barbering course is the perfect way to start learning to be a barber.
