What is the spacing between the upright posts, please? It looks nice and beefy, thus far! That DeWalt Framing Nailer sounds so Fisher-Price, that it’s laughable! I opted for Metabo HPT Battery-powered tools from Lowes, as they are on deep discounts a lot, plus, they have LIFETIME WARRANTY! Buy them, just one time, and you’ll have them for your whole life! And Metabo HPT Framing Nail guns and ALL of their other nail guns, are awesome! I have them all! Great job, brother!

The spacing is 8’ on center. The posts are 6x6 and I used 2x12 floor joists. It survived Hurricane Helene without a scratch thank God.
I agree with the gun. I took it back and got my money back. It’s the only tool I have been disappointed with DeWalt. I would hate to get another battery system as all my battery powered tools are DeWalt. I will look into Metabo…I keep hearing good things about it. Thanks for watching!

How come the nuts that fix the pieces (I don't know the proper name) to the bases do not unbalance the wood beams ?

Good question. Take a look at 1:12 you'll see the top/cover that goes on top and it covers the bolt and nut. The bolt and nut must fit perfectly inside the metal top/cover without touching. I cut mine to ensure it fits. You can see in 7:17 the post on top of the top/cover.
