I've been praying and asking for forgiveness for the same sin on a daily basis, I always say I will stop falling into the sexual temptations, but I always end up doing it again the next day. When I am in the moment, I hear something telling me that I shouldn't do this and that its wrong, but I still continue and when I'm finished, I feel so guilty. Can I still be forgiven? Please pray for me as I do not feel the presence of God with me right now because of my wickedness.
im not a priest nor an expert but i will write what i think, if you feel guilty and REALLY regret after a sin, (not regret like 'oh no i wasnt supposed to do that😮, anyway...' but really regret which make you literally fell sick and hurt inside) then thats a sign of the Holy Spirit, thats a sing that you know God's righteousness, thats a sign that you are a true believer, not someone who read the Bible without engaging, but as someone with real understanding and belief and trust in God's word, that is great and, i pray, it will eventually help you overcoming this sin. just remember, God's mercy is beyond our understanding, literally infinite i'd say, even the greatest sinner cant defeat God's mercy, thats a wrong idea to think that we are able to make God so angry that His mercy will end, nothing is stronger than God, nothing is stronger than His love for us (Romans 8:38-39 go read buddy now!!!!!!!!), Jesus died for us, for sinners (Romans 5:8-9), not for righteous, noble people but for the sinners, so God thought of us at our lowest and still decided to die for us. that the best thing in the world. but as to overcoming those temptations, im not sure what may help you, there are some channels i watch and they made some videos about lust etc, i can put the link here, but if that wont help then i'd try to find the core of the problem, what is the very first thing which makes you commit that sin, try to find it and maybe theres something to do about it, also you should pray, i know i know everyone would advise it but really it helps, if sin makes you sick spiritually then try and fight with it spiritually. and remember, theres no saint without a past, and no sinner without the future!!! "Aide-toi et le Ciel t'aidera" Prenez donc de bonnes résolutions viriles pour éloigner les occasions de tomber dans ce péché là. Implorez la miséricorde de Dieu, suppliez la Sainte Vierge de vous apprendre à connaître et à aimer Dieu. Car plus vous aimez Dieu, plus vous détesterez le péché. Suppliez le Ciel de vous rendre pur de corps et d'esprit. Dieu ne refuse rien à celui qui demande humblement et avec foi. Dieu pardonne à l'âme qui regrette sincèrement sa faute et ne veut plus la commettre de nouveau. Mais cela implique de ne pas rester passif, il faut changer radicalement de vie lorsque nous sommes enfoncés dans le péché. Je prie pour vous, gardez courage et priez beaucoup la Sainte Vierge. Elle m'a sauvé de ma mauvaise vie car je ne méritais que l'Enfer. Elle vous sauvera aussi si vous lui demandez humblement. Dieu vous garde
Remember that God is your strength, and that if He calls you stop doing something it means that its possible to stop doing it. Don't identify with your feelings. Don't identify with the feeling of being weak, or a slave to the flow of your emotions. With God you are a victor, and overcomer. You can take up your cross, crucify your flesh and halt something whenever you are called to halt it. Trust that God will preserve you through your endurance in moments were you feel impossibly weak. He is your strength, all you have to do is trust it's possible and do His Will. Ignore the feelings of being "too weak", just be determined in enduring, hold and push through. Vaya con Dios my brother, God is with you. Jesus loves you so never give up and stay holy ✝️💪🏻🙏🏻
