- Israel is promising a response to Iran's retaliatory attack, with anonymous Israeli officials telling the media it could consist of more targeted assassinations, as well as attacks on Iran's oil fields, nuclear sites and air defense systems. According to Biden, the U.S. is "discussing" strikes on Iranian oil fields, although he didn't appear to finish his sentence when he was asked by reporters...
This, as Israel continues to bomb Beirut, targeting heavily populated civilian areas, and Israel's attempt at a "limited" ground invasion was quickly met with heavy force from Hezbollah, leading to a over a dozen Israeli casualties.
Prof. Seyed Mohammad Marandi, of the University of Tehran, noted that one of Israel's goals with the latest escalations is to terrorize the Lebanese people until they turn against Hezbollah. But given the fact that Israel has killed hundreds of civilians, displaced over 1.2 million, AND assassinated Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in a matter of weeks... their plan is already backfiring, as the public continues to show support for the Resistance.

China and Russia need to send air defence systems to Syria and Lebanon
Why haven’t they ? Is their so-called friendship / alliance being exposed ? Why is China not doing anything ?? They just seem opportunists and phonies.
Russia should be doing more too, but at least they have done excuses some could use , such as, they are in a conflict with the western imperialists/colonists in Ukraine

The US likes to intimidate its advisaries and I don't think they were expecting Irans attack. Bidon let the cat out of the bag with his comments when asked if Israel might target Irans nuclear facilities. He emphatically said no and went on to say Israel would respond but its response would be discussed and agreed upon by the G7. This offhand comment tells us a lot. The Israelis and Americans were trying to come to an agreement with Nasrallah that would only stop hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah. The Israelis would say that Hezbollah struck them on the 8th of October last year and their response is justified. And though I don't support the Israelis, I can't discount their argument. And did the Lebanese people take a vote to go to war? Did the Lebanese government even take a vote?
