Wow, what a leap. I quite clearly _was_ concerned, regardless of the gender, and even spoke out against it back on the original video. But the fact that the baby is a girl is statistically more dangerous for that child. That's all. The horror stories, mainly sexual abuse, of girls in polyamorous families are vast.
As for "acting on assumptions", I want them to step in and take the baby away because they all seem like unfit parents.

My comment _was_ solely about the baby being female. Staistically speaking, baby girls are often _raped_ in families like these, _as_ babies even. I wouldn't condone this even if the baby was male, but the fact that she's female puts her in significantly more danger. That was my _very simple_ point.
