Interesting build, for many myself included it's the other way around with the crank gun being used for hordes and dps whereas the ranged weapon is for massive damage: Trollhammer. Ever tried the more "usual" setup of using the 50% extra careerskill capacity and killing specials causes charge to not be used?
I was with innovative ammo hoppers before but when i started doing some true solo with him and use the drakegun, i realized the gromril plated shot was more usefull for me.
