Ah!!!! Thank you so much for asking! We truly appreciate it. Thank you for caring enough to ask for an update. And because you asked, I will give you an answer. The social worker just left our house. She spent an hour in our home talking to us about AJ's well-being. She had JUST SEEN AJ THIS MORNING AT HIS HOME -- which is about 90 minutes from us. So, the social worker did a home visit with AJ and she did a home visit with Steven and myself. AJ is still adjusting to being in foster care. He has not been in our home for six weeks now. He started school in the new school district. She said that he is having some minor adjustment issues, but that he is actually thriving in his new environment. He will be with this foster home at least through the end of May. We hope to have him back with us in June. Thank you. And for the record, we DID NOT SIGN OVER OUR PARENTAL RIGHTS. He is just temporarily in state custody due to choices that he made all the way back to last January. We were in court with him all year last year. We are not bad parents. INTERESTINGLY, Steven had previously mentioned that in a video we had made when we first got the truck. I do RECALL him saying that it is NOT MOVABLE...and so I was quite surprised that he said he was going to move it. I remembered him saying that it was non-movable. I will have to ask him about it in the morning. He has already been in bed several hours. I will ask him tomorrow about this. Thanks so much for being a faithful friend to our channel. ❤️ Ruthie 01.14.25
I JUST TALKED TO STEVEN. He said that he will have to take all the bolts out to move it. Technically, it is a "fixed" fifth wheel. The previous owner had moved it behind the drive to accommodate a car hauler, and it really needs to be up in front of the axle. Have a great day! Ruthie B Howard 01.15.25
@@bigbellyrebuilds2778 Not a big deal if you are going to be pulling same trailer all the time and most flatbeds are spread axles so axle weight usually is not a big issue. I change trailers a lot so I have a slider. One advantage to yours is they weigh less so that can mean a little more payload for you to haul.
@@wyatt12358 Thank you, Mr. Christopher. Appreciate hearing back from you. Steven recognizes what you said to be true. He says that will eventually want to move it to be in front of the axle. Thanks, again! Ruthie 01/15/25
any AJ updates ?

Might have to get those nuts real warm with torch before they will come loose.
YES, I am sure that Steven will be able to take care of that. Thanks! Appreciate you, Mr. Christopher. Ruthie 01.15.25
