Timo Meier is back! I was at the game. Two well matched teams. Much needed Devils victory to snap their losing streak before the Christmas break. Hope this is a confidence booster for the Devils. Yzerman has turned around the Red Wings. This game could have gotten ugly for the Devils. I still think that Fitzgerald has to make some moves to beef up the defense after the NHL roster freeze is over. Great to see Patrick Kane playing.
Timo meier showed up!?!?!?!? Its a god damn Christmas miracle. Weve waited long enough for timo to start playing like this, i hope it continues. Glad we finally saw the player we paid for tonight.
Looks like he's finally healing. He had a great start to the season until injury, he was rushed back too soon
Devils do not need or use Timo for offense as much as the Sharks did. That is why Zetterland is doing well as his replacement because the sharks call offensive plays for Zetterland.
Timo is a really good all around player but if you wanted Timo to take shots over Hughes and Bratt he would be more worth his contract.
Timo was a really good sharks player in his prime. I hope he has those years as a Devil too.
Zetterland reminds me of Timo in some ways.

Tbh they’d be doing even worse (hardly to believe, but likely) without him this season. He’s doing so much more for the Wings than they for him right now lol. It’s really too bad he started playing with them in their current state because it doesn’t look great on his record, despite the fact in most games he’s often the only one playing like he’s part of an elite league. Hope the Wings can sort themselves out.

Your giving New Jersey credit WOOOW! after the refs helped them calling dumb penalties over and over again especially the ones on Raymond and it gave them life ,DEVILS GOT SO LUCKY .and a lucky tip in for them to take the lead.We played one of our best defensive games this season and Hutchinson was fantastic and deserved the win.debate me all you want but you won’t be right on anything you say.

Was actually a good 60 minutes from the wings tonight. Need to see more of this play after the Christmas break. If our offense wouldn’t have mishandled the puck on some crucial plays we would of had this one.
NEW JERSEY GOT LUCKY😡 no question.we played one of our best defensive games this season and those dumb calls especially the two on Raymond helped New Jersey get the momentum in them this was OUR WIN.
We need to get a new goalie. That's it. Red wings never won a cup without a top goalie

@@dabndangleHusso is one of the best in the league and Lyon carried the panthers through their playoff run, it’s unfortunate those guys are out due to injuries but they’ll be back after the break. Need another 3rd line D if anything.

Red Wings this season are experts at making bad clears, just whack at the puck deep in the zone and hope for the best.
The puck drizzles around and it usually ends up in our net.

Why do the Wings keep blowing leads?
Yeah I'm not impressed with this win at all. Didn't hold a lead until the 3rd. Almost coughed the lead up with less than 5 minutes left. Yeah they hung on but if not for that pipe this game heads to overtime.
If this team does not get right by the all star break you can hang the season up. They should have got Hellebuyck in the off season

Yes they will
Their offense obviously doesn’t really have much issues, both goalies are under .900 save percentage on the year on top of some atrocious D. That being said, the goals are there in bounds, if they figure out the other end they’ll be scary so idk too soon to say. Honestly l, they could get away with just getting some hot goaltending considering they’ve been scoring at a great rate but again we’ll see
I will say though Definitely at least one of those things (D or goaltending) needs to be improved to make a run

Проиграли в упорной борьбе на гостевой площадке с минимальной разницей, причем в конце 3-го могли спастись, когда в одном эпизоде сначала Ларкин попал в штангу, и тут же на отскоке Перрон уже в пустые ворота не попал. Позорное поражение - это когда Сан-Хосе в начале сезона 0:10 и 2:10 проигрывал, или недавно Питтсбург 0:7 отлетал от Торонто, или буквально в прошлом туре уже Торонто выхватывал 9 шайб от Баффало!
New Jersey got SO FKN LUCKY 😡.they had the refs in there favor all night long .those two penalties on Raymond were not intentional SO IT MEANS NO PENALTY,but to the refs vs Detroit as usual have to hurt our games and it gave New Jersey momentum and life.cause we actually played one of our best defensive games this season,WE KILLED OFF 4 PENALTIES,until like i said the refs gave New Jersey life with those dumb calls SO NO CREDIT TO NEW JERSEY THRY SUCK .Hutchinson was FANTASTIC,and we kept 2-1 till again the lucky power plays that we killed off gave New Jersey life ,and lucky tip in goal to make it 3-2 SO ALL LUCK.people can debate me all that want but you won’t be right on anything you say.
